Y/N📞: Yeah, I know I will take care of Myself. Don’t worry about it J.

Jaehyun Sighed.

Jaehyun📞: I am coming back from the business trip tomorrow. I want my best friend to be happy and healthy when I see her okay?

Y/N📞: Yes! You need to take care too you know, you barely eat anything and don’t get enough sleep because of the work. I am more responsible in that case.

Jaehyun📞: Says the Girl who got sick because she gave her Jacket to a random little girl on the street.

Y/N📞: What? She was feeling cold and she didn’t have anything warm.

Jaehyun📞: You know how worried I get about you, you need to be more careful. About me, I am used to it by now.

Y/N📞: Yeah, sure don-

I was interrupted when Suddenly I heard someone yell from downstairs.

Jade: Y/N! Are you ready or not!?

I suddenly remember that I was supposed to get ready.

Y/N: Coming!

Y/N📞: I will talk to you tomorrow J, I was supposed to get ready but I lost track of time. we have been talking for an hour now. I’ll see you tomorrow. Take care.

Jaehyun📞: See you soon my cupcake. Take Care. Bye.

*End Of Call

Right now, I am getting ready as I am meeting my friend Scarlett after a year and I can’t wait. But Jaehyun, my best friend Called which made me lose track of time and now I have less than 15 minutes to get ready before Jade barges in and Dresses me up herself.

Scarlett and I studied in the same university and have been friends ever since . She moved away to The US but now has moved back after her mom’s Transfer. She moved a week ago and I wanted to surprise her today. So Me along with Jade are going to meet her at the garden near her house, she is completely unaware of the fact that we are coming.

She has been telling me a lot about her annoying neighbour who doesn’t let her sleep. He has Parties till late and music blasting every other day. From what I have heard he is a pervert as well. Scarlett seems to hate him more than anything. I have told her multiple times to try to explain to him nicely but She never agrees. She says that he doesn’t deserve the kindness. I asked her whether I should talk to him, I have a way with people, but she strongly disagrees. She says that she doesn’t want me in his presence being the protective friend she is. She told me how he is a big jerk. I want to believe her because she is my friend but I want to see it for myself to believe it. He might not be that bad.

Scarlett was telling me about how she made a friend here. His Name is Kim Namjoon. She met him outside her neighbours house. Turns out he is her annoying neighbours good friend. I have heard many good things about Namjoon, on how he is an amazing guy. I am really looking forward to meet him, he sounds sweet.

I snap out of my thoughts when I heard Jade calling my name.

Jade: Peaches!!! We’ll be late! Hurry up!

I quickly changed my clothes and wore this:

I ran down stairs and saw Jade Tapping her foot impatiently while looking into her phone. She looks up and sighs looking at me.

Jade: Finally! What took you so long?

Y/N: J called so I forgot.

I laughed awkwardly.

Jade: Like always. Let’s go now!

She dragged me by my arm to the car. I saw Javier standing in front of the car, he bowed and gave me a warm smile. 

Javier: Good Morning Miss Y/N . Let’s go, your ride is here.

Y/N: How many times do I need to tell you, call me Y/N only, no need for the formalities. You have been my bodyguard slash friend for 2 years. So Don’t call me “Miss Y/N”.

Javier: Fine. I won’t From next time Y/N. Take a seat. We are already getting late.

I looked at my watch and sat in the car quickly. Jade Sat in the Backseat while I sat in the front taking control of the music.

Y/N: The party has just started.

Jade and I laughed while Javier started to drive while smiling.

Scarlett’s POV

I was walking in the garden with my friend Namjoon while drinking coke. I really needed some fresh air after seeing My Neighbours face. It always puts me in a bad mood.

Scarlett: It is hard to believe that you are that Jerks Friend.

Namjoon Chuckled.

Namjoon: What is it with you and him never getting along, EVER.

Scarlett: Maybe because he is a Jerk and A pain in the ass at the same time.

Namjoon: He is not that bad, I mean You Guys never have a proper conversation. It is always your sarcastic comments and His Flirty Comebacks.

Scarlett: Listen, I don’t care whatever he may be like, he is a jerk for me and I know that he won’t change any time soon. Can we not talk about him. He already ruined my mood today by Spilling his Energy drink all over my white roses. Does he have no manners at all.

I scoffed. 

Namjoon: Fine. Let’s not talk about him. So you were telling me about your friends.

Scarlett: Yeah. I haven’t heard from them. Though they know that I am here already, none of them have come to meet me yet. I really miss them. I miss Y/N a lot. I hope that I meet her soon.

Namjoon: Y/N? Oh she is that friend that you were telling me about. The one who is too nice and trusts easily.

I sighed.

Scarlett: Yes. That’s her. She is too nice. Has gone through a lot in her past. Still somehow has always kept a smile on her face. If I was her, I would’ve snapped a long time ago.

I said while taking a sip of my coke.

???: Namjoon-ah!

A voice called from behind. I turned around to see the face of the person I wanted to see the least. I rolled my eyes in annoyance. He walked towards us with his two friends and three girls.

Scarlett: Speaking of the Devil.

I scoffed while looking at my phone trying not to make eye contact.

He stood in front of me so I decided to look up. He smirked.

Scarlett: Park Jimin.

Y/N’s POV

We were in the car. I looked out the window to see a happy couple sitting on a bench, her head on his shoulder. I smiled looking at the sight. I remembered my past. It hurt thinking about it but it all comes back to me in some way or the other. 

I had a Boyfriend two years Ago. It was a toxic relationship but I loved him too much to realise the affect it had on me. He used to hit me every single day because of his possessiveness. He always used different equipment to hurt me. Sometimes a belt, sometimes throw knives while sometimes He would chain me to a pole and Beat me up till I am unconscious. 

He wasn’t like this before. He loved me as much as I loved him. He changed after his aunts Death. He took over her company and became a mafia. He stopped trusting anyone. The stress concluded in him getting bipolar disorder. He used to hit me in one moment and in the next he used to be showing concern. But after he was treated he became worse. He used to beat me up more and treat me like his Object of possession rather than his girlfriend. Something he would use to take out his frustration on. I still have the scars on my body which makes me more insecure of myself. Those scars are healing but Whenever I see them, everything comes back. 

Jaehyun found me getting beaten up one day and took me away from his presence forever. He is still looking for me. He believes I belong to him. Hearing his name brings shivers down my spine. He has changed a lot. He used be different. More loving, more affectionate, but because of the misunderstandings Everything changed with the snap of a finger. The love and Affection of two years changed just because of a simple misunderstanding. Do I still love him. I sighed because this is not the first time this question has come to my mind. I never have the actual answer to this question. I shook my head to get rid of those nasty thoughts when Jade asked me.

Jade: I think you should call Scarlett once. She might be in the middle of something. We should be sure that she is not in a situation where we would be interrupting her. She would be surprised Any which ways.

I sighed.

Y/N: Okay.

I unlocked my phone and Called Scarlett waiting for her to pick up.

Third POV

Scarlett: What the hell do you want now.

Jimin smirked looking at Scarlett’s annoyed face. He looked at Namjoon.

Jimin: Sorry for interrupting you Joon. I didn’t know you found a new toy for yourself.

Scarlett scoffed.

Jungkook and Taehyung stared at Jimin with a blank expression. They seemed used to it by now.

Scarlett: Shut That mouth Before My fist comes in contact with that disgusting Face of yours.

She said while clenching her fist.

Jimin: Do you think that I am scared of you sweetheart. You and your little threats, I am so used to it by now. It is not long till you give in like the others.

Jungkook: I am gonna get some ice cream.

He was gonna leave when a girl grabs his arm stopping him.

Girl1: Oppa, Why are you leaving me alone.

She pouted clinging on to Jungkook’s Arm.

Jungkook scoffs. He knew that she was one of his toys that he will be throwing away after he gets satisfied.

Jungkook: I am not going forever. I am just getting ice cream, don’t act like a five year old who can’t live without her father.

He jerked her hand off of his arm and walked away towards the Ice cream cart.

Jimin: You are not why I am here.

He gave Scarlett a cold stare.

Jimin: Namjoon, We were supposed to go to the club.

Scarlett rolled her eyes.

Scarlett: Going to the club in the afternoon. You actually have no shame do you, you shameless little Sh*t!

She scoffed and Jimin glared at her but before he could say anything The Girl, standing beside him spoke.

Girl2: Watch your Mouth their you Snake before I chop that tongue off.

Scarlett Clenched her jaw about to say something when her phone rings. Her eyes widen and Namjoon looks at her in confusion.

Namjoon: Who is it?

Without replying to him she quickly picks up the phone.

*On the Phone 

Y/N📞: Hi Scar!

Scarlett📞: Hi Angel, Why did you call at this time? Are you okay?!

Y/N📞: I am fine, why do you sound so Angry?

Scarlett📞: Nothing I just Saw a something disgusting today so I am not in a good mood.

She said while glaring at a Jimin while He Chuckled.

Y/N📞: Anyways, Be ready and stay in the Garden , we will be right there. I wanted to surprise you but Jade insisted for me to call you. So be ready We will be there in a few minutes.

Scarlett📞: WHAT?!

She said loudly while making Jimin Confused and Curious at the same time.

Y/N📞: What happened? Are you okay?!

Scarlett📞: Yeah I am fine. I was just surprised that you are coming here right not at this very moment. What a wonderful surprise.

Jimin smirked listening to Scarlett while She gave him a death Glare.

Y/N📞: Okay then, Bye Scar~

Scarlett📞: Bye Angel~

*End Of call

Scarlett cut the call and looked at Namjoon.

Scarlett: Remember That Friend I told you about, She is coming here! Right Now! I can’t let her be in this Perverts Presence!

She gave Jimin a Disgusted look and he scoffed.

Jimin: Ouch! That’s Offensive!

He said Sarcastically.

Jimin: Are you scared that she will fall for me?

He smirked while Scarlett scoffed.

Scarlett: Fall? For you? Oh please, she won’t fall for someone like you . She is just too Naive and I won’t let her fall in your trap you creep!

She said aggressively and Jimin just smirked having no affect. She looked around and her eyes stopped near the pavement.

Scarlett: Oh no.

She face palmed as she saw a big black car pull over near the pavement. She knew exactly who it was.

Y/N’s POV

I cut the call and looked at Jade.

Y/N: There, are you satisfied now. But you were right. She was surprised. It seemed more like a shock to me. I don’t know why she seemed pissed off. 

Jade: Maybe It’s because of her neighbour again.

I hummed in response.

Y/N: I really need to talk to her neighbour. I don’t want people to be giving her a hard time. But she won’t let me.

Jade: That’s because you are too nice and she just wants to protect you. He is A Jerk, well that’s what I have heard. 

Y/N: I don’t know, I just feel like it’s Wrong. She is too worried. 

I sighed and looked back into my phone changing the song. I zoned out getting lost in my music. I like taking music as my escape from the bitter truth, which is my reality. 

Jade: We are here Peaches!

I snapped out of my thought when Jade Shook Me a bit from behind.

I looked out the car window and saw Scarlett standing there with a bunch of boys.

(Y/N’s Mind: That’s odd, Who are these guys? There are three unfamiliar girls there too. I wonder who they might be.)

Y/N: Yeah sure let’s g-

I was interrupted by my phone ringing. I look at the caller ID. It was Jacob. I sighed. I turned to Jade.

Y/N: You go a head. I will come out quickly after answering the phone call. 

Javier opened the door of the car for Jade.

Jade: Okay But Make it quick. See ya!

She said and closed the car door shut Before walking out.

I picked up the Call.

*On the Phone

Jacob📞: Hi Sugarplum.

Y/N📞: Hey, Why did you call? You know that I am supposed to meet Scar right now.

Jacob📞: That’s why I called! Did you meet her yet? How is she?

Y/N📞: No DumDum! I was getting out of the car when you called. And what’s with all the questions.

Jacob📞: W-Well, I haven’t met her in a year as well, so I was excited.

Y/N📞: Okay, If you say so.

( The conversation on the phone continued as He kept on bringing up more topics to talk about.)

Third POV

{Meanwhile}

Jade walked out of the Car and all the guys looked at her up and down. She walked up to Scarlett ignoring everyone else’s presence.

Jade: SCAAAARRRRRLLLEEEETTTTT!

She said and immediately hugged her.

Namjoon: So this is her?

Scarlett and Jade broke the hug and turned to Namjoon.

Scarlett: No, Namjoon. This is Jade. 

Namjoon: Oh, well it’s nice to meet you Jade.

Jade: It’s nice to meet you too Namjoon. 

Scarlett: Where is Y-

Jade: She got a call. She is in the car. She will be out the minute she is done.

Scarlett sighed in relief.

Jade: And who are they?

She pointed at Jimin, Taehyung and the Girls while raising a brow.

Scarlett: This is My jerk Neighbour. 

She smiled sheepishly.

Jade: I see, well I should have figured when I saw that creepy ass smirk on his face.

She said glaring at him.

Jimin: Your Friend is just as Feisty as you Scarlett. I like that. 

He said while smirking.

Jade: Just So you know, I have a boyfriend. Even if I didn’t I still wouldn’t be interested.

She looked at him up and down and rolled her eyes.

Scarlett: Now you know what I was talking about. Please don’t let her out of the car. I don’t want her in this perverts Presence.

Jade: Javier! Is she done with the call?

Javier peeks inside the car.

Javier: Nearly, why do you ask?

Jade: Can you do me a favour and not let her out.

Javier: You know she won’t listen to either one of us Miss Jade. But I will do it.

He locked the car and Y/N noticed and looked at Javier through the car window in confusion.

Jade: We can always try. I won’t let my Peaches in this creeps trap.

Y/N’s POV

I was talking to Jacob about to cut the call when I hear the sound of the car doors being locked. 

I looked at Javier in confusion while still being on the phone with Jacob.

*On the Phone 

Y/N📞: I need to go now, I have to deal with something. I will talk to you later. Bye Jacob See you soon~

Jacob📞: Bye Sugarplum~

*End Of Call

I cut the call and tried to open the door but it did not open. It was Locked from the inside and out. I realised that the window could still be opened so I rolled the windows down.

Y/N: What is going on Javier? Can you move I can’t see anything.

Javier: Sorry Y/N. Miss Jade told me to not let you out of the car.

Y/N: Come on, Please Javier. For my sakes, please.

Javier: Sorry Y/N. It is for your own good.

Y/N: Please Javier. 

I make puppy eyes and He sighs.

Javier: I hate it when you do this. Fine!

Third POV

All of them could hear Y/N continuously knocking on the car door. 

Jimin: Are you that scared? What a coward! You can’t let her out because you know you can’t protect her.

Scarlett: I won’t let you in my head Jimin, I won’t let her out.

Javier: I am sorry Miss Jade but I can’t keep her in anymore. I am opening it.

Javier opened the door and Y/N stepped out of the car, her hair in her face so no one could see her. Everyone looked at her up and down. 

She sighed and walked up to Scarlett.

Y/N: Hi Scar! 

She said and Hugged her tightly. Ignoring the presence of everyone around her.

She took the hair out of her face clearing the view. Jimin, finally seeing her face smirked even wider.

She didn’t break the hug.

Y/N: Do you know how much I missed you. It doesn’t feel like it’s been a year. It felt like an eternity.

Scarlett Giggled. They broke the Hug and Looked at each other. 

Scarlett: But now I am back and I won’t let anyone hurt my angel.

She said glaring at Jimin.

Namjoon: You must be Y/N, it is lovely meeting you. I have heard so much about you from Scarlett.

Y/N: And you must be Namjoon, I have heard wonderful things about you too. I can’t wait to get to know you better. Any friend of Scarlett’s is a friend of mine. Oh I just remembered.

She turned to Scarlett still not paying attention to Jimin.

Y/N: How is the situation with your neighbour? You always say no but I think I should talk to him. You can be a bit harsh sometimes, maybe he’ll listen to me.

She said smiling brightly. Jimin chuckled softly listening to Y/N. He somehow found her innocence Amusing.

Scarlett facepalmed.

Scarlett: How many times do I need to explain it to you child, you will not say anything to that piece of sh*t. And the worst part is that he is right behind your right now.

Y/N froze in her tracks as she realised that there was a guy standing behind her. Feeling awkward because she just talked about the guy, She turned around slowly trying her best to keep her composure. She looks down not making eye contact but slowly looks up to not make things Awkward.

She saw two guys standing there but one was right behind her looking at her from head to toe. The Guy had his hands in his pockets, his eyes were emotionless and cold, his facial expression was hard to read and there was a prominent smirk on his face.

Y/N: Sorry, I didn’t see you there. My name is Y/N and you guys are?

She said while looking at the both of them.

Taehyung: I am Kim Taehyung, it is nice meeting you. 

He shook her hand and grinned.

Then her gaze turned to Jimin who was staring at her constantly.

Jimin: My Name is Park Jimin. It’s nice meeting my neighbours friend.

He smirked and Scarlett groaned.

Y/N: It’s nice to meet you too. 

She reached out her hand to shake it. Jimin smirked while moving his hand towards hers. As soon as Y/N’s hand was about to touch Jimin’s Scarlett turned her around by her arm and pulled Y/N into her embrace. Jimin rolled his eyes as he was just centimetres away from her hand.

Y/N: What’s wrong Scar?

Scarlett hugged her tightly while Burning holes into Jimin’s Head with her intense gaze.

Scarlett: I missed you that’s all. 

Y/N hugged her back while giggling.

Y/N: Me too.

They pulled away and Y/N turned around to face Jimin once again.

Y/N: I wanted to talk to you about the loud mus-

She was interrupted by Jungkook walking near them.

Jungkook: They were out of chocol- 

Both of their Eyes widened as they looked at each other in surprise.

Y/N: KOOKIE!

Jungkook: Y/N!
