Third POV
Jade and Scarlett got out of the big black Car. Y/N got out from the other side and took small steps towards the stairs. She felt many pairs of eyes on her. All looking at her angel like Figure in that dress.
She somewhat felt a bit conscious, thinking that her scars might be visible though she applied foundation. She took a deep breath trying to get rid of those thoughts.
Jade: Let’s show them who the queens are!
Scarlett: Let the Fun begin!
They smiled before walking up the stairs.
Y/N’s POV
As we entered we saw Mr.Choi along with Mrs. Choi. I saw Scarlett’s smile grow wider looking at her father. It had been a long time since I have seen her this happy. Jade walked to Beck and Scarlett walked to her parents leaving me alone in the crowd of people.
I slowly walked towards To where Scarlett was standing.
Y/N: Auntie?
I said and Mrs. Choi turned her gaze towards me giving me a warm motherly smile.
Mrs.Choi: Look here, Both my daughters look like angels today.
She said to Mr Choi while she hugged me.
Mr. Choi: Oh My! Y/N, dear, It’s been such a long time since we met. How have you been?
He hugged me. Mr. Choi has always been like my father. He was more like a father to me than my real father. Scarlett’s Parents and my Parents have been friends for a long time now.
Y/N: I have been fine. Auntie, you look so beautiful today. No. You look beautiful everyday.
She Pinched my cheek slightly and I smiled.
Mrs. Choi: Ya! Sweetie, stop. You are making me blush now.
Y/N: I am so happy to see you guys standing together. Though you guys stay away from each other most of the times but your love only grows stronger.
Mr. Choi: Well that’s what love is.
He smiled while looking a Mrs Choi. Scarlett and I looked at them in Adoration.
Mr. Choi: Now where is that father of yours?
He asked in a teasing tone and I giggled. But before I could answer my phone starts to ring so I excuse myself to answer the call from Daniel Oppa.
Third POV
Y/N Walks away and leaving Scarlett with her parents.
Mr. Choi: We wanted both of you to meet someone. They are our close friends. But since Y/N is on the phone we will introduce her when she comes back. Until then you can meet them.
Mrs. Choi Gestures Scarlett to come with them as they walked towards a Couple.
Mr.Choi: Hello again! Remember, I was telling you about my Daughter. Here she is!
He said and Scarlett walked in front bowing while giving them a warm smile.
Mrs. Park: It’s nice meeting you dear. We have heard so much about you.
Mr. Park: Wait, let me introduce you to our son.
He said and Moved aside revealing a boy who had his back facing towards them.
Mrs. Park: Son.
She tapped his Shoulder and Scarlett’s Jaw Dropped.
Scarlett: You?!
It was...Jimin
Jimin: Hello there! Didn’t expect to see you here.
He said while smirking. Scarlett Took a deep breath trying to control her temper.
Mrs. Choi: You know each other?
Scarlett: Yes, He is my neighbour.
Mr. Park: Well that’s nice. Maybe you can get to know each other better.
He said And Jimin rolled his eyes.
Jimin: I think we know each other pretty well already, don’t we Scarlett?
He said and looked at Scarlett who was clenching her Jaw. She simply nodded not wanting to say anything.
Mrs. Park: This is My son, Jimin. I don’t know where my other son is? Where is Chanyeol, Jimin?
But before He could Answer they heard a voice.
Y/N: I am so sorry for taking so long actually it was a call Dan-
She halted in her steps when her eyes met Jimin’s.
Jimin’s POV
I see the figure in front of me. I don’t have words to describe how amazing she looks. The dress made her look more angelic than ever. She had the same smile on her face like always. We looked into each other’s eyes. I just couldn’t stop looking at her. She looked away, breaking the eye contact.
Mrs. Choi: Y/N sweetie come here.
She gestured and Y/N walked towards her.
Mr. Choi: This is Kang Y/N. The youngest daughter of The owner of the Kang Incorporation.
My eyes widened. I was surprised but didn’t show it.
Mr. Choi: But I don’t need to tell you because we three have been friends since our college days.
Y/N: It’s lovely meeting you. How come we have never met?
Mrs. Park: We Remember you since you were very young. You and Jimin used to play together a lot when you were kids. You guys never wanted to leave each other and always got along just fine.
My eyes Widened in surprise while Y/N laughed awkwardly.
Y/N: It’s weird how I don’t remember any of this.
Mr.Park: We haven’t met your Father in a Long time. Where is he anyways?
Y/N: I don’t think he will be coming today but my brother will be coming in just a few moments. I just received a call from him.
Jimin: We meet again Miss Y/N.
I smirked while looking at her while she simply smiled.
Y/N: What are the odds. Well it’s nice meeting you again.
She reached her hand out. I smirked and Reached my hand towards hers. This time we actually shook hands unlike the last time. Holding Her soft and Delicate hand made me feel weird sensations. I looked at Scarlett and She was furious. She slowly pulled away and I felt this weird emptiness.
Mrs. Park: How is your Mother Dear?
She asked and I saw Y/N’s Smile Dropping. She looked down avoiding everyone’s gaze. I saw Mrs. Choi Rubbing her back.
Y/N: S-She passed away two years a-Ago b-because Of brain t-tumor.
She stuttered while looking down and her hand went towards her neck. She held the little chain she had around her neck through which there was a ring. Maybe this was the past that Jungkook was talking about.
Mrs. Park: I am so sorry Dear, I didn’t know-
Y/N: It’s okay Mrs. Park. It’s not like she ever left me. She is always there watching over me. Though I miss her, she is in a better place now. A place with less pain suffering. Where she can be at peace. She will always be there in my heart.
She said smiling warmly once again still holding the chain.
Mrs. Park: That is a very good Attitude. You are very strong dear. Your mother must be very proud of you.
Y/N: Thank You Mrs. Park.
Jungkook: Y/N?
I turned around to see Jungkook walking up to us.
Y/N: Jungkook? What are you doing here? Oh wait I know. It’s because of your Father right?
Jungkook: Yes actually.
???: Baby Sis!
A voice was heard from a far. A huge smile plastered across Y/N’s face upon hearing the voice.
She turns around.
Y/N: DanDan?
He walks up to us and She Gives him a Tight hug. They soon pull away. She takes him by the arm and pulls him towards our direction.
Y/N: This is My elder brother, Kang Daniel. DanDan, this is-
Daniel: I know who this is. You were very little but I was still grown up enough to remember. It’s wonderful meeting you guys after so long. I am so sorry, Father won’t be able to make it. He had some business to deal with.
Suddenly someone comes upto him whispering something in his ear.
Daniel: Can You all please excuse me, I need to meet someone. See you in a while Baby sis. Take care of yourself.
He bowed before walking away into the crowd.
Scarlett: Y/N and I need to meet up with some friends as well. So we will be going.
Scarlett was about to Drag Y/N away but she halted in her steps. She turned around to face me, Jungkook and Taehyung.
Y/N: Would you guys like to Join us? I mean Kookie Knows some of my friends already and Maybe he can introduce you too. What do you say?
My smirk grew wider. She is too kind, too sweet and too Naive.
Jimin: Sure, we would love to.
I saw Scarlett glaring at me while tapping her foot impatiently. The sight was satisfying me even more.
Y/N: Let’s go then. Lead the way Scar.
Scarlett Sighed.
Scarlett: By the way J is here.
Y/N’s Eyes Widened and her smile grew bigger than ever.
“Who’s J? Does she have a boyfriend?”
I shook my head to get rid of those thoughts.
Y/N: What are we waiting for then, Let’s Go!
She started to speed walk leaving Us Behind.
Scarlett: Hold up Angel.
She said and Held her arm.
Scarlett: Let me lead the way. I know where they are and you don’t.
She said and dragged Y/N by her Arm while we followed behind.
We soon reached a Group Of People. I spotted that Jacob Guy Who we met today at the club along with Jade. We walk towards them.
Y/N’s POV
I walked towards my friends and found Jaehyun no where.
Daymon: Wow, we didn’t expect you to kill us with that outfit.
He said teasingly.
Daymon: But RonRon still looks the best.
Y/N: She should look the best since she is Daymon King’s Girlfriend. You both look so cute.
I said and Veronica Blushed hiding her face behind Daymon.
Y/N: Now Tell me, where is he?
Jacob: Who?
He smiled Cheekily and I pouted.
Y/N: You know who, don’t play dumb.
Jacob: He is-
But before he could finish I felt a pair of hands cover my eyes
???: Guess who?
Though I knew who it was but I played along.
Y/N: How should I know. I can’t see you. Are you Daymon?
I said And chuckled while he scoffed.
???: So you didn’t miss me?
Y/N: Of course I did. How could I not miss you...Jaehyun.
I said and he removed his hands for my eyes.
I turned around to see his smiling face looking at me. I hugged him, wrapping my arms around his neck. He hugged me back lifting me off the ground and spun me around a bit.
Third POV
As Y/N was hugging Jaehyun, Jimin was constantly looking at them. He felt furious, which confused him. Why was he feeling this way? What is wrong with him? He kept on questioning himself unable to find the answer
Y/N: Now let me go before You crush my bones.
She said and he chuckled.
He looked at Y/N and smiled.
Jaehyun: Well someone looks beautiful today.
He said and She blushed. He then notices that the dress is off shoulder. He whispered.
Jaehyun:(whispers) Y/N your scars-
The minute she heard about her Scars her eyes widened. She cut him off.
Y/N: T-They are visible? How come? I covered them up with Foundation. The ho-
Jaehyun put his hand over her mouth.
Jaehyun: Calm down Cupcake. No they are not visible. I was just asking why you are getting so conscious. It’s okay. Relax, I am right here for you.
Jaehyun said and she sighed in relief.
Y/N: I am so happy you are back. Two weeks felt like an eternity.
Y/N pouted and He chuckled.
Jacob: We are here too you know.
She giggled.
Jade: If you guys are done with your reunion can we continue?
Jungkook: Hey Jacob!
Jacob: Hey Kook! What are you doing here man?
Jungkook: That’s not important. Can you introduce us to your friends.
Y/N: I will do it!
She said excitedly. She stood In front of Jimin.
Y/N: Okay. Guys this Is Jungkook my friend from the college exchange program and they are Taehyung and Jimin, his Friends. Turns out, Jimin is Scarlett’s Neighbour, so we know the exact situation already.
Everyone: Ohhh.
They all said in realisation,
Y/N: Okay so,
She turned to Jimin.
Y/N: I am supposing you already know Jacob, Jade And Scarlett. So I will introduce the rest. Okay, so this is Daymon King and that is his Girlfriend Veronica. They are the ultimate example of the term “Soulmates.”
Veronica: Why are you going in so much depth?
She said while blushing.
Y/N: Okay, okay. Moving on. This is Beck, Jade’s Boyfriend and my close friend. And last but definitely not the least, Park Jaehyun.
She walked away from Jimin and held Jaehyun’s hand pulling him towards Jimin.
Y/N: He is my best friend and the person I trust with my life. I feel blessed to have met him. Well that’s all.
She sighed and Looked at the time.
Y/N: Okay so J I had planned a surprise for you. Actually it is from all of us.
Jaehyun: Oh really? Wow. What is it?
Y/N: We have organised a Party for you at Daymon’s Farmhouse. We will be going there after this event, it is more like an after party. It will be so much Fun I-
She stopped talking when she looked at Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung. She got an idea.
Jaehyun: What happened Cupcake?
Y/N: Huh? Nothing.
Jaehyun: I have to introduce you to a few people. Come on.
He pulled her away from the group.
Jacob: I knew this was gonna happen. Jaehyun always hogs Y/N. It is not fair. She is our friend too you know.
Jade: You know that he is her ultimate best friend right? They both prioritise each other a lot.
Jimin just stood there observing everything. He kept Looking at Y/N after every two seconds. She was laughing with Jaehyun which made Jimin feel a weird emotion. He was angry but at the same time looking at her face made him feel calm. Jungkook and Taehyung were talking to Jacob. They had gotten together pretty well. Y/N walks up to them and flashes her brightest smile.
Y/N: H-Hey Jungkook, can I ask you something?
She said while approaching Them.
Jungkook: Go On Y/N.
Y/N: Are you guys free after this?
She asked and Jungkook looked at the guys.
Jungkook: Yeah. I guess we are.
Y/N: So would you like to come to the after party?
Jungkook: Sure. That’s cool.
Jimin smiled trying to look polite though he had something else going on in his mind all together.
Y/N: Okay, now I only need to talk to my friends about it. Scarlett is going to freak out if she finds out that Jimin is going to be there at the party. Anyways, just follow my lead okay.
Y/N shows them a Cute thumbs up before turning around and walking towards her friends. Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung followed behind her.
Y/N: Hi My lovelies!
She said while smiling.
Jade: Hey, why do you sound like you want to tell us something.
Y/N: Wow you know me well.
They both chuckled.
Y/N: So, I am getting my plus threes to the party.
Jacob: PLUS THREE! I THOUGHT WE COULD ONLY BRING A PLUS ONE?
Y/N: Well, actually, I invited Jungkook to the Party. And then I decided to call Jimin and Taehyung as well. So My plus one is Jungkook, Jungkook’s Plus one is Taehyung and Taehyung’s Plus one is Jimin. Tha-
She was cut off by Scarlett.
Scarlett: Hold Up! You called this jerk to the Party! I can’t believe this! Why?! God?! He is following me everywher-
Y/N: Calm down Scar, I will make sure that you guys don’t end up in a conflict. You enjoy yourself and he will enjoy himself, okay? You trust me don’t you.
Scarlett Sighed.
Scarlett: Okay, Fine! Only for you.
Y/N: Thank You.
She said and hugged Scarlett.
Y/N: Wait! I have to do something! I will be right back!
She sped and walked away in a hurry.
Jimins POV
I look at Y/N disappearing into the crowd of people. What is this Girl up to?
Jacob: What is this girl doing now?
Jaehyun: Well She is full of surprises. Must be doing something for someone.
Jungkook: How are you so Sure?
Jungkook asked raising a brow at Jaehyun.
Jaehyun: I know her for a long time, I have realised that. She does the most unexpected things.
He said as he sipped his beverage.
Scarlett walked towards me crossing her arms over her chest.
Jimin: What do you want now?
I said coldly, this is ticking me off.
Scarlett: I am not sure what you are upto but if you do anything fishy, I will make you regret it Park Jimin. Mark my words. Y/N is like a Sister to me. Back off before it’s too late.
She said and walked away before I could say anything. I don’t get why everyone is like that when it comes to Y/N. Why are they so, Overprotective. I mean everyone has a past, but that doesn’t mean you become so Protective of them.
My trail of thoughts was interrupted by a familiar voice.
???: May I have everyone’s Attention please?
I turned to the stage and Saw Y/N standing on the stage holding a mic.
Y/N: I hope you all are having a lovely evening. I noticed that we have many couples with us today. Therefore, To make today even more special and memorable, I would really like to Invite all the couples on stage for one last song before we end this night. Don’t hesitate, it’s okay.
She smiled while speaking into the mic.
Y/N: Mr. and Mrs. Choi, Mr. And Mrs. Park, Mr. Daymon King and Ms. Veronica Reign, Come on stage and make this evening the one to remember. Please come forward.
I saw many couples heading to the stage, including my parents. I saw Y/N whispering something to the Musicians.
The couples start to dance when the music starts to play.I start observing everything one by one.
Y/N: You don’t have a partner?
I snapped my head towards the side when I saw Y/N standing beside me while smiling.
Jimin: No.
I said blankly but it didn’t seem to affect her.
Y/N: Why not? Just grab a random partner and start to dance. It’s all about the feeling and emotion. You don’t know what you might find sometimes.
She said with a smile.
Jimin: I am not in the mood. Why don’t you dance?
She sighed and looked at the dancing couples.
Y/N: I don’t have a partner. It is generally my best friend and I know he will approach me any minute but I want him to find someone else. I want him to have a girlfriend as well. All girls drool over him but he doesn’t even glance at a single one. And these heels are killing me. I don’t like heels that much.
She said while bending down to rub her foot.
Y/N: It looks beautiful doesn’t it? They all look so happy. If you look carefully you realise they all have a story hidden behind them, of how they got to this stage of happiness. You can feel the love radiating from all of them. It’s just so beautiful.
She smiled warmly. Jaehyun approached us.
Jaehyun: May I have this dance, my lady.
Y/N: My feet hurt J and you need to find someone else. When the hell are you going to start dating someone? Come on, you are 23.
Jaehyun: All of the Girls are gold diggers and You are the Only one that I trust. Plus, you are my official dance partner forever and always.
He winked and Y/N chuckled.
Y/N: If you don’t find a dance partner yourself I will find it for you. I am sorry J.
Jaehyun: What do you mean by sorry-
Y/N: HEY GUYS! THE HANDSOME PARK JAEHYUN IS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO DANCE WITH!
The minute she said that Many girls crowded around Jaehyun and Y/N just laughed.
Y/N: This is What he gets for leaving me for 2 weeks!
She kept on laughing and I saw Jaehyun signalling something to her and she signalled back.
Jimin: What are you doing?
Y/N: Me and Jaehyun have Special Signals which only we understand. Right now he is asking me to help him but I said no because He needs to find someone.
I looked at her Cheerful and smiley face. There is something about her, that is just pulling me towards her. Then suddenly an idea comes to my mind which causes me to smirk.
Jimin: Y/N?
Y/N: Yes.
Jimin: Will you be my partner?
She looked at me surprised.
Y/N: I thought you didn’t want to Dance.
Jimin: I changed my mind. May I?
I said Bringing my hand out in front of her. I could see that her gaze was on Scarlett who was constantly looking in this direction.
Y/N: I don’t know Jimin, it will be hard to Dance in these heels.
Jimin: Take them off then.
I said while raising a brow.
Y/N: O-Okay.
She said while looking down. She slowly took off her heels and Came back towards me.
Y/N: Scarlett can you take care of these Stupid heels. I am gonna dance with Jimin.
Scarlett: Dance With Jimin?! Girl are you out of your mind?! No! I won’t allow this!
Y/N: It’s just a dance. Don’t worry about it and I won’t be falling for anyone any time soon if you are wondering because I can’t.
I was overhearing their conversation and Got Confused. What does she mean that she can’t fall for anyone?
Scarlett patted her back and gave her a hug. Her bright smile was replaced by a weak one. She broke the hug and called out to Jacob.
Jacob: Yes Sugarplum?
Y/N: You both are gonna partner up and I am not asking.
She put Scarlett’s hand in his and pushed both of the towards the stage.
She turned around to face me.
Y/N: Shall we?
She said and I took her hand in mine. Holding her hand made me feel many sensations in my whole body which I had never felt before. What is wrong with me.
I led her to the stage. Once we reached the stage I put my arm around her waist which caught her by surprise. I could see her tensing up a bit which made me chuckle to myself. She put her hand on my shoulder and the other hand in mine. We slowly danced getting lost in the music. I could see she wasn’t looking at me in a way the others would but she looked at me in a rather sweet way.
Y/N: I never thought that you would be the dancing type but I guess I was wrong.
I spun her around and she turned back to face me.
Jimin: There are many things that can take you by surprise but you should always be prepared.
Y/N: Hmm, that’s true.
We kept on dancing getting lost in the moment. I finally decided to speak.
Jimin: Can I as-
I was interrupted by someone.
Jacob: Y/N! Jimin! Let’s go we have to go for the after party! And If Jaehyun sees you dancing with Jimin, he will knock him out.
I raised my brow in amusement and Y/N let go of me laughing nervously.
Y/N: Y-Yeah let’s get going and Jaehyun dare not beat anyone up tonight. I swear if he does I will make him regret it.
She said sternly but it still made her look soft.
Jacob: Okay now come on.
We all headed towards the cars. Once we reached the parking we saw everyone waiting for us.
Jaehyun: Where were you?
He said looking at Y/N with suspicion.
Y/N: They had Cheesecake so...
She smiled childishly while lying.
Jaehyun: Aish you are such a Child. Anyways now who is sitting in which car? Let’s decide.
Jacob: All the guys in my car.
Jade: And all the girls in mine.
Y/N: Okay well that’s settled.
The guys headed for their car while the girls headed for theirs. Everyone sat in the car leaving me behind.
Jacob: Sorry Jimin there is no space.
I roll my eyes in annoyance and run my fingers through my hair in frustration.
Then I hear a voice from the girls Car.
Jade:Sorry Peaches, We forgot that there was equipment in the car. There is no space left.
Jacob: Now what should we do, we can’t leave 2 people behind.
Then Y/N spoke with a cheerful voice.
Y/N: Don’t worry Guys. Jimin and I can go in my car.
Scarlett was about to say something but Y/N gives her a reassuring smile which stops her. Scarlett huffs and Crosses her Arms over her chest while I smirk.
Y/N: You guys should leave, we will follow behind you.
Jaehyun: Are you sure Cupcake?
He asked and Y/N simply nodded while putting her heels on.
Y/N: Move along or we will be late. Go! We will follow.
Both the cars moved away leaving only the two of us in the empty parking lot.
Jimin: So should we go.
Y/N: Yeah let’s go.
She walks towards her car and I followed behind while smirking.
