Third POV

At the party, Jungkook and Taehyung sat at a table having their drinks. 

Jungkook was in Deep thought, Taehyung noticed and decided to ask him.

Taehyung: What are you thinking about Kook?

He asked and Jungkook snapped his head in Taehyung direction.

Jungkook: Why did you do it Hyung?

Taehyung raised a brow.

Taehyung: Do What?

Jungkook: Why did you have to challenge Jimin Hyung, you know how he can get when he gets challenged.

Taehyung chuckled which perplexed Jungkook. Taehyung took a sip of his Drink and looked at Jungkook once again.

Taehyung: Jungkook, I know what I am doing and I have a very good reason for what I am doing. I am doing this for Jimin’s Good.

Jungkook: How is this for his good?

Taehyung: It Just is, I cant tell you the reason right now but I will soon. He is my best friend and we have known each other since we were kids, of course I would want the best for him.

Jungkook: But this can harm many people Hyung, it’s wrong. Every time this happens, it’s wrong.

Taehyung snapped his head towards Jungkook.

Taehyung: It isn’t wrong this time and rather than harming it might do something for the better.

Jungkook was puzzled by his statements. He was about to question Taehyung further when He was interrupted.

Jimin: Hey guys.

He said walking casually towards them. He stood in front of them with his hands in his pocket.

Taehyung: You finally remembered us, I thought you forgot about us.

He said teasingly and Jimin rolled his eyes.

Jimin: Yah! I didn’t forget about you. 

He said and sat on one of the empty chairs.

Taehyung’s POV

I looked at Jimin who looked a bit lost. I can’t tell Jungkook why I challenged Jimin because it’s too early for that. I know he might think I did wrong but I did this for Jimin, for my best friend. I decided to break the silence and spoke.

Taehyung: So how are things going with Y/N?

I asked with a smirk and Jimin looked at me blankly.

Jimin: How are they supposed to go?

He asked trying to dodge my question but I was quicker than him.

Taehyung: So That means they are going bad. So should I take it that you are already giving up?

I said smirking wider and Jimin scoffed.

Jimin: Don’t assume things Tae. Things are going great, couldn’t go better if I am being honest.

He said And leaned back in his chair. It is so easy to agitate him. 

Taehyung: Good.

I simply said and Jungkook looked At the both of us with a poker face.

Jungkook: I am so done with the both of you.

Jungkook Groaned and Jimin and I chuckled looking at him.

Jimin: You will still be our little Maknae.

He said Ruffling his hair.

Taehyung: He is taller than you Jimin.

I said and Both Jungkook and I laughed loudly while Jimin just rolled his eyes at us.

Jimin was about to Speak when he was interrupted.

Y/N: Hey Guys!

She said while giving us a warm smile. Looking at her smile gave me surety that I made the right decision. I gave her a smile. I looked at Jimin with the corner of my eye and saw him smiling slightly. Knowing him for many years, I knew he was trying to maintain a cold expression but Only I could tell that he was actually smiling under all that coldness. I saw Her Best Friend standing behind her looking expressionless.

Jungkook: Hi Angel, Hey J!

Jungkook said and Waved.

Y/N: Do you guys need anything?

She asked and All of us shook our head.

Jaehyun: I think they should be fine Cupcake, lets go now, we have a loads to catch up on.

Y/N: J! We have the whole night to ourselves and you took this whole week off, we will catch up then. Now go, Daymon, Beck and Jacob are waiting for you. It’s your Guys night remember.

Jaehyun: But-

Y/N: No buts, Now move it!

She pushed him slightly and He rolled his eyes.

Jaehyun: Fine! But I will be back!

He said ruffling her hair. He shot us a glance before walking away and Y/N sighed.

Y/N: This Man! 

Jungkook: So What are you doing here Y/N?

Y/N: I didn’t get a chance to talk to you properly Kookie. We have a lot to catch up. I mean it’s been 2 years! It still doesn’t feel like it.

She sat down beside Jimin and Jimin smirked.

Taehyung: So Y/N, Do you have a boyfriend?

I asked and she shook her head.

Y/N: I don’t want to be in a relationship for sometime. I need a break.

She said looking towards the sky admiring it.

Jungkook: But it’s been 2 years Y/N, don’t think you should date someone to just get closure-

He stopped abruptly as Y/N’s Smile dropped. She sighed and smiled once again.

Y/N: Because I don’t date people just to get over others, I date someone when I feel that specific feeling. 

Jimin: What Kind Of feeling?

Y/N: It is indescribable. Can we not talk about this for now guys?

Jungkook: Sure Y/N-ah. I understand.

Y/N gave us a warm smile. 

Jimin: How was your talk with Jaehyun?

He asked not even sparing a glance at her. I think he is trying too hard. But Y/N doesn’t seem affected.

Y/N: It went well. The house is a mess and I saw the broken Vase. It is the 24th one in this month. Geez.

She said shaking her head. She looked over at the DJ booth and was Signalling something to him.

Taehyung: What are you doing?

I asked her and she turned her gaze towards me.

Y/N: The DJ has my phone because I had the best musical choices at the university. I even used to DJ sometimes at the events.

She said smiling ear to ear.

Taehyung: You know what Y/N? I like you, I think we can be great friends in the future.

I saw Jimin glaring at me the minute those words escaped my mouth. I chuckled to myself looking at him.

Y/N: Sure why not. I would love that. Since you are Jungkook and Jimin’s Friend you are automatically my friend. I don’t know why Scarlett Said those things, you guys are so nice.

I felt bad for Y/N somehow. She couldn’t see the things that Scarlett saw and even if she did she would have still been nice to us. She is too Naive.

Suddenly someone puts his arm on Y/N’s Head.

Y/N’s POV

 

I felt something heavy on my head.

Y/N: What the-

I looked up and Saw Jacob Smiling sheepishly. Oh no! He was drunk.

Jacob: Y-You Look T-Tinier t-than u-usual t-today s-sugarplum. Y-You are M-Mini S-Sugarplum.

Y/N: How much did you have Jacob?

Jacob: W-What d-do y-you m-mean?

Y/N: He definitely had more than 3.

I said and removed his arm that was resting on my head and got up.

Jacob: WOW! You grew again! How did you do that?

I sighed and made him sit on the chair.

Y/N: There. Sit here and be a good boy. Don’t move or I will pinch your nose.

I said and Jacob covered his nose.

Jacob: N-No!

Y/N: Jungkook, Take care of Jacob And I will get the cars read-

But before I could finish I felt someone hug me tightly.

Scarlett: ANGEEELLLL! I MISSED YOU! LETS HUG!

She Hugged me tightly. I could smell alcohol on her too.

Y/N: You too Scarlett?

Scarlett Giggled and I shook my head and made her sit beside Jacob.

Jacob: Scarlett! Why are there two Scarletts! When did you have a twin!?

Scarlett: I have a Twin!? Wow I didn’t know! I will ask my mom! Now Give me A hug!

They both hugged. I tried to pull them apart but they didn’t let go.

Jacob: I have such a pretty girlfriend and no one can have a girlfriend as pretty as mine.

Scarlett: He Called me pretty. Yay! And this man right here belongs to me. And only me.

Scarlett giggles and I sighed.

Y/N: It’s sad that they won’t remember this tomorrow.

Scarlett: You are so soft Jacob!

Jacob: You are softer.

Jungkook: They are Drunk bad.

I nodded in agreement.

Y/N: I am sure the other guys are drunk too. There’s a reason why there is supposed to be at least one person who is sober. This is one of the reasons why I don’t drink alcohol. Jaehyun, Daymon and Veronica can stay here for the night. Jungkook and Taehyung , can You drop Jade, Beck, Scarlett and Jacob to their respective houses. Leave Beck at Jacob’s House and Leave Jade at Scarlett’s Place. I would’ve asked Jimin to drop Scarlett but I promised Scarlett that I won’t let them be together for too long.

I said in one breath.

Jungkook: Hey calm down, we got it okay. 

I looked around and saw that nearly everyone had left. I saw Javier running towards me.

Javier: Y/N!

He said and I snapped my head towards him.

Y/N: What’s wrong? You sound worried, is everything okay? Are you okay?

Javier: I am Fine, it’s just that it’s getting late and you should be heading home. I will take care of Mr. King, Ms. Reign and Mr. Park. Don’t worry and go. 

I hesitantly nodded and turned around only to find Jimin right behind me looking right into my eyes.

Jimin: Shall we?

He asked and I knitted my brows at him.

Y/N: Huh?

I asked and he chuckled.

Jimin: Shall we go? You brought me here remember? You are supposed to drop me back home.

He said and I nodded in realisation.

Y/N: Oh- Sorry I forgot. Let’s go then.

I said and started to walk while He followed behind.

We both sat in the car. I was having trouble with my seat belt. It was getting stuck which had never happened. While I was struggling I felt a pair of hands making its way to my seat belt. It was none other than Jimin. He looked at the seat belt and tugged on it and it wasn’t stuck anymore. I kept on looking at him, looking at his features as he was focused on putting my seatbelt on. His sharp jawline, his dark brown orbs, his thick hair and his plump lips. I didn’t realise that I was constantly staring at him.

Jimin: I know I am handsome, you can quit staring now.

I widened my eyes in realisation and quickly looked away. Jimin chuckled softly but I heard him. He finally looked up and our eyes met. Our faces were way too close. I could feel his breath hit my face gently. His eyes were beautiful- Wait what am I saying!? 

I broke the eye contact and coughed a bit. He cleared his throat and there was silence. I slowly started to drive away from the farmhouse to Jimin’s House. Nobody said anything for the past 10 minutes and the silence was killing me. Why is this guy so quiet? It is so odd. Can’t he speak for once. I don’t want to be the one to start a conversation every time. But what choice do I have? I lick my lips before I speak.

Y/N: So did you enjoy the party?

Jimin: Yes.

He said and I looked at him in disbelief. Really? Just one word, That’s all I get for my hard work? Why am I even affected? This is really weird. I sighed and continued to speak.

Y/N: That’s a relief. Well, Chelsea seemed interested in you.

I said and he snapped his head in my direction.

Jimin: Was She now?

He said and raised and brow. I hummed in response.

Y/N: I thought so by her tone. It was just so...so-

Jimin: Seductive.

He cut me off and I looked at him, my lips in a thin line.

Y/N: I wouldn’t put it that way, but let’s go with that for now.

I said and he chuckled.

Jimin: Why are you so child like?

I raised my brows in surprise.

Y/N: And why would you say that?

I asked and he just looked out the window.

Jimin: There is not just one reason. 

He chuckled and I huffed.

Y/N: You are just like them.

He looked at me puzzled and this time it was my turn to chuckle.

Jimin: Who?

Y/N: Who’s confused now?

I giggled looking at him rolling his eyes.

Y/N: And to answer your question, my friends. They say that I am a child since I am the youngest out of all of them. That’s one of the reason why they are overprotective.

Jimin Just hummed.

Y/N: Why don’t you try going on a date with Chelsea? No pressure, I am just suggesting.

Jimin: Because I could see her intentions. Her tone was seductive and I know how girls like her are. I have experience.

Y/N: Okay but sometimes you find the most unexpected things in people that might be of your interest. But I respect your decision so it’s okay.

He mumbled something that I couldn’t hear. He then smiled. I looked back at the road focusing on it when Jimin asked me a question which took me by surprise.

Jimin: Why did you say that there are girls at the party who are much better than you?

Y/N: What’s with the sudden question?

Jimin: Don’t dodge the question. Just answer it will you.

He said and turned his gaze towards me. 

Y/N: That’s because it’s the truth. That’s just how I see things. I don’t deserve the attention that I get. And the attention that I require I never get it.

I said and he questioned me further.

Jimin: You shouldn’t say things like that. You deserve it. I Know you do. What happened in these past two years?

Y/N: I will tell you Jimin. I will tell you pretty soon. 

The rest of the drive went by and I played some music to fill the silence. I hummed the songs and I saw Jimin smiling.

Y/N: You should smile more often, it suits you.

He chuckled a bit and looked out the window. I sighed. Soon we reached his house. I stopped the car and Faced him. I realised that he was already looking at me. Our eyes met but he looked away.

Jimin: Thanks for the Ride. 

He said removing his seat belt.

Y/N: My pleasure and don’t thank me, I enjoyed it too.

Jimin: We should hang out sometime. What do you say?

Y/N: What about tomorrow?

I said and he looked a bit surprised.

Jimin: Tomorrow? Are you sure?

Y/N: Yeah, tomorrow I have taken an off after a hectic schedule, so I am free. Unless you are busy, then we can do it some other time-

Jimin: No, I am free.

He said cutting me off.

Y/N: Okay then. I’ll send you my address and this time you will pick me up. 

Jimin: I surely will.

He smirked which brought shivers down my spine but I was good at keeping my composure so I didn’t show it. He got out of the car and stood there for a while.

Y/N: So give me a call when you will be planning on coming over. We can get to know each other better. You can take me to your favourite places and I will take you to mine.

I gave him a warm smile while he maintained his aura not showing any emotion.

Jimin: Sure.

Y/N: So it’s settled. I will see you tomorrow Park Jimin. Have a good night.

I said and he closed the car door shut. I waved at him while smiling and he nodded before turning around and walking towards his door. I sighed and thought:

“I don’t know why you are so cold Park Jimin. But one day, Maybe, I will break that ice. You just wait Park Jimin”

I looked at him one last time before Driving away. 

Tomorrow will be a heck of a day.
