Y/N’s POV

I stood in front of my Mother’s Grave with her favourite flowers, purple orchids and a cake that I baked early in the morning. My siblings and I got a separate land on which we put our mother’s grave, we set up a big garden filled with flowers and fountains. She loved such things. 

I sat down on my knees as I looked at her grave with teary eyes.

Y/N: H-Happy B-Birthday M-Mom.

My voice cracked looking at her grave. I wished that I could Hear her voice right now. Her sweet voice which made me smile through the darkest of times. 

Y/N: Look Mom, I brought your favourite flowers and I also baked your favourite cake, Vanilla Marble cake. I made it a bit strong just the way you like it.

I said placing the flowers near her grave as I sat down comfortably on the ground. Tears spilled out of my eyes thinking about her. 

Y/N: Remember when we went to the beach together and I pulled you in the water with me. You got all wet and chased me around.

I chuckled but my tears wouldn’t stop. I started sobbing loudly knowing that nobody would hear me here. 

Y/N: I miss you mom, I feel so weak without you. You were my strength through all the pain. Why did you leave me? I can’t survive without you. 

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. A gush Of wind blew in my direction but I didn’t open my eyes. Just then I heard a voice.

???: Y/N...

Y/N: M-Mom?

My eyes were still closed as I heard the sweet voice which I was desperate to hear.

Mom: Yes sweetie, my lovely beautiful angel. It’s me. You remembered my Birthday.

Y/N: Of course mom. I wouldn’t even forget in a million years. 

I heard her laugh a bit.

Mom: Why are you crying Sweetheart?

Y/N: I miss you, please come back.

I sobbed.

Y/N: I want to feel your hugs, your warmth, your love, I can’t live like this mom. Everything is becoming hard without you.

Mom: Shh, don’t cry my angel. I love you so much, seeing you cry makes me sad. I am always here for you. I am always watching over you, whenever you feel that you need me just close your eyes and take a deep breath. 

Y/N: You were my strength mom, I feel so weak now.

Mom: You have a new strength now Y/N-ah. And that person is closer than you think, you just haven’t figured out who it is yet. But when you find out, remember to tell me. You wanted to feel my hug right?

I nodded. Just then I felt another big blow of wind in my direction. It felt like the force of the wind embraced me. 

Mom: I have to go now Y/N-ah, but remember to stay strong. I love you my angel.

Y/N: No mom! Don’t leave me again! Mom!

I opened my eyes to see nothing nor no one around me. I sighed and got up placing the flowers and Cake on top of her grave. I looked around to see the birds chirping and the flowers blooming. I walked around the garden while inhaling the fresh air which felt pleasant.

 I looked over at the small seating that me and my sibling made when we come visit this place together. I walked over to it and sat down. The view of the whole garden was visible from here.

 Of course there was no one here, why would there be? Only me siblings and I come here and I am not sure if Oppa And Unnie Are coming today. They are very busy these days, Daniel Oppa has a lot of stress because dad is going to handover his position to him. As for Jihye Unnie, she is a psychologist now, she has many patients these days so she is tired because of that. 

I miss my family, our memories together, though my father and I weren’t on the best of terms but he was always nice to me on my mother’s birthday. I can never forget the time he hugged me on her birthday during our family photo, that memory is one of the most special ones. I never can and never will forget it. A smile spread across my face and I took a deep breath.

I was pulled out of my trance when I saw my phone ringing. I looked at the caller ID and my eyes widened. It was...My Father.

{3 hours later}

{At Y/N’s House}

Third POV

Jimin arrived in front of Y/N’s house since all her friends were supposed to meet up at her place to discuss Jade’s birthday. 

Just as he got out of his car, two more cars were parked close to his. All of Y/N’s Friends came out and looked at Jimin. A few moments later, Jungkook and Taehyung arrived too and all of them decided to go in together. They rang the doorbell and the door opened revealing Javier. He looked at them confused. He let them in.

Javier: What are all of you doing here today?

He asked and All of them looked at him in confusion.

Scarlett: What do you mean? We were supposed to meet up with her today to discuss Jade’s Birthday.

Javier: But she is not home.

Jacob: Where is she then?

Javier: Don’t you all know what today is? Mr. Jaehyun, don’t you know?

He asked and Jaehyun furrowed his brows. He checked his phone for the date but he couldn’t remember what today is.

Jaehyun: What is it?

He asked and Javier sighed.

Javier: It is Y/N’s Mother’s Birthday today.

He said and all of them gasped. Jaehyun’s eyes widened when realisation hit him. 

Jimin looked Down still in his thoughts, “Maybe this is why she kept on saying she is busy today.”

Javier: She went to her Mother’s Garden Memorial which her siblings and her got made. She said she will be back 2 hours ago but she isn’t back yet.

Everyone furrowed their brows.

Javier: I decided to call her because I was worried. She picked up the call while driving then she told me that she is driving to her Father’s Mansion, he wanted to meet her. 

Jaehyun: H-Her Father? 

He stuttered. Everyone frowned as Jaehyun never stuttered, he was always the strong One, the kind of person who stood his ground. Why did he stutter then?

Jaehyun: I hope everything is alright? I am feeling anxious now...

He said massaging his temples.

Javier: You all should sit in the living room, I think Y/N will be back soon so don’t worry.

All of them them walked to the living room. They sat down and started to discuss the party guest list along with the venue.

Jimin’s POV

As everyone was talking my mind was only on Y/N. What would she be doing right now? Where she was? I couldn’t focus on The conversation that was taking place. Her face kept on popping up in my mind. 

My father called me today telling me how he wouldn’t force me to get married anymore and that he had understood that I wasn’t ready. I was taken a back by his words and asked him what had changed his mind. He told me how Y/N had come to his office early in the morning and talked to him about it. He understood her point and decided not to force me. He kept on saying how Y/N is very sweet and well mannered, she spoke to him in a way in which he couldn’t refuse her request of not forcing me to get married. Y/N is truly an amazing Friend and I can’t thank her enough for what she has done for me.

Jungkook: You agree with me Hyung?

Jungkook asked me and I was pulled out of my trail of thoughts.

Jimin: What? Sorry did you say something?

Taehyung: What are you think about Jimin? Are you okay?

He asked with concern. I was about to answer him but was interrupted by the loud screeching sound of a car coming to a halt. It was pretty loud as if a car at speed had come to a sudden halt. Everyone’s gaze was now towards a the front door as we heard footsteps approaching it. 

The door opened and Y/N came in everyone’s view. Her eyes were red and puffy. Was she crying? She looked up, her eyes which were generally full of happiness were now full of sadness. She didn’t even look at us once and continued walking to the stairs.

Jaehyun: Cupcake?

He asked and Y/N stopped but she didn’t look at us still. I saw her secretly wiping her tears. She finally looked up and forced a smile.

Y/N: I am sorry guys, I got late. I had some work today. You guys can continue planning, I am not feeling too good, I am going to my room. If you need me just call me.

She said and before anyone could say anything she dragged her feet upstairs. She looked upset. Though she tried her best to maintain a positive aura but she was upset. Her happy aura was not that visible.

Jaehyun: Something’s wrong with her. Her eyes were red, it was obvious that she was crying. 

Jacob: Yeah But we should give her the time that she requires, when she is comfortable she will tell us herself.

Scarlett: Yeah, Jacobs’s right, give her some time.

As they were talking I decided to sneak to check up on her. I had this urge to see her that I couldn’t handle it anymore. I tip toed to the stairs, I noticed that Taehyung saw me but I motioned for him to cover up for me. 

I walked up the stairs and stood in front of Y/N’s Door. The door was not fully closed, it was open a crack so I decided to peek in rather than stepping in directly. The scene in front of me shattered my heart into many pieces. Y/N sat on her bed hugging her knees. She was crying but silently, no emotion was showing on her face. It seemed a bit odd. Tears streamed down her cheeks like a waterfall. I had never seen her cry but seeing her cry right now was breaking me a part. She didn’t notice me and started talking to herself.

Y/N: Why mom? Why didn’t you tell me? 

She said lowly. 

Y/N: I thought he called me today because it was your birthday. B-but he just-

She stopped as I saw her closing her eyes tightly and reopening them slowly.

Y/N: You were the only one who loved me mom. Everyone else just pretends because they pity me. I am tired mom, things just keep getting harder. I can’t take it any longer. I always try to get over it but I can’t. I wish you were here. How does it feel like being up there? Is it less painful?

Each and every word she said was piercing through my heart. Her whole face looked tired, her eyes were red and puffy while her cheeks held her dried up tears.

Y/N: Can’t I stay with you? I don’t want to stay here anymore. The only reason why I am trying to stay strong is because of all the people downstairs. They made me strong, when I was on the verge of breaking a part.

She said wiping her tears.

Y/N: But I never thought you would hide something like this from me mom. Why didn’t you tell me? Because you thought I would be hurt? Well I don’t think I feel any better now, it would’ve been better if I found out before. I don’t know what to do or think anymore.

She kept on wiping her tears and stood up and walked towards the mirror standing in front of it. She took the chain from her drawer which had her mother’s ring in it. She wore it and looked at her reflection. I couldn’t see her like this anymore so I decided to go back downstairs. I looked at her one last time before walking away.

As I step downstairs I feel that the atmosphere is still a bit tense. Maybe because of Y/N...? I quietly go and sit beside Taehyung. He looked at me like he was asking me about Y/N. I shook my head in response and he sighed.

Jaehyun: Scarlett, you have changed.

Scarlett: Just because I am not taking your side doesn’t mean that I have changed.

Jaehyun: But now you only side with Jacob, you changed after yesterday’s date with him. What happened anyways?

Jacob smirked and Scarlett blushed. She choked on air.

Scarlett: N-Nothing. I-It doesn’t matter.

Jaehyun sighed while looking at the stairs.

Jaehyun: I am going to see her. I am not waiting around anymore. 

Just as he was about to head for the stairs when the door bursts open with a loud thud.

Daniel: WHERE IS Y/N?!
