 Third POV

Y/N picked up the call. When she placed it near her ear all she could hear was someone breathing heavily on the other line. She took a sip of water from the glass that she was holding. She was about to say something when she heard a voice from the other line

*On the phone

???📞: Hello My dove...

Her breathing had stopped upon hearing the familiar voice. It felt like her throat was clogged.

Y/N📞: B-B-BamB-a-am...

She said in an inaudible manner so no one noticed

BamBam📞: Did you miss me Dove? 

His voice sounded emotionless. Her hands Start to shake as all the memory from 2 years ago came flooding back to her. 

Y/N📞: How did you get my number? Why are you calling me?

BamBam📞: Can’t I call my dove...?

He laughed.

BamBam📞: Did You not miss me Dove? It’s been 2 years I’ve been looking for you and now I have finally found you.

The glass dropped from her hand crashing down on the floor. Everyone noticed and the whole table became silent looking at her but Y/N didn’t seem to notice as all her focus was on the call.

BamBam📞: Don’t worry Dove, I am not going to do anything. I just wanted to invite you for something.

He stopped for a second before continuing.

BamBam📞: I am getting married Dove...

He said and Y/N felt as if her whole world was crashing down. She felt a piercing feeling in her heart. Her hands started to shake vigorously.

Y/N📞: W-What?

She said and all her friends looked at her worriedly. Her eyes became glossy.

BamBam: Yes Dove and you are my special guest. See you then, I need to meet my fiancé right now. I will be waiting for you.

*End of call

Her phone dropped from her hand. Her body felt numb. She couldn’t feel or process anything. Tears streamed down her cheeks like a waterfall.

Jaehyun: Who was it Y/N?

He asked But Y/N couldn’t hear him.

Jaehyun: Y/N?

He waved his hand in front of her face but she started to cry harder but silently. Jaehyun picked the phone up from the ground and put it to his ear.

Jaehyun: Who the hell is this?!

Jaehyun: Hello?

But the call had already ended. 

Jimin looked at Y/N as tears were streaming down her cheeks. She was sobbing and her whole body was shaky. Her mind had gone blank and the only thing on her mind was BamBam’s Marriage. 

She got up from her place and was still shaking. Her legs were wobbly but she didn’t care. She felt immense pain in her chest. She clutched onto her dress trying to endure the pain. She started to breathe heavily as she felt that it was getting harder to breathe. 

Y/N: I-I can’t b-breathe. 

Her head started to spin and vision became blurry. She put her hand on her head trying to reduce the arising pain. 

Scarlett: What’s happening Y/N?! Take deep breaths.

Daymon: She is having her panic attack again! Calm down Angel...

Her friends were saying things to calm her down but she couldn’t understand what they were saying as she felt throbbing pain in her head and before she knew it her knees went weak and her vision became black. 

Before she could collapse to the floor Jaehyun caught her in his arms.

Jaehyun: Y/N!

He said with Panic written all over his face.

Jimin froze looking at Y/N’s state. He started to panic. He wanted to go to her but stopped himself because of Jaehyun.

Jaehyun: She got her Panic attack again! Someone call the doctor! Jacob, find out who called her! F**k!

He looked back at Y/N.

Jaehyun: Get Up Cupcake! What happened?

He picked her up in bridal style.

Jaehyun: Everyone meet me at Y/N’s house!

He carried her to his car and drove to Y/N’s house.

Time skip~

All of them were in Y/N’s Room while the doctors examined her.

Doctor: Did something happen before the panic attack occurred?

Jaehyun: She received a call.

Doctor: Did something too stressful take place during that call?

Jimin: We are not too sure doc.

The doctor hummed in response and looked back at Y/N who was lying on her bed sleeping peacefully.

Doctor: According to everything you told me, she got two shocks today. She stabilised herself during the first one but the second one was too much for her to take in therefore her BP shot up resulting in her panic attacks resurfacing. I have been Y/N’s doctor for 4 years and I know about her medical history, it’s strange how out of no where she suddenly got her panic attacks. Please take care of her and don’t let her stress out about anything. I have given the medication to her already, she must be having it at home. I will be taking my leave now.

Beck: I will walk you out.

He said and left with the doctor. Jaehyun sat beside Y/N on the bed and gently caressed her head. She was his best friend and was like family to her. He just couldn’t see her in pain or agony. It broke him a part to see her upset and she couldn’t  see him upset either.

Jaehyun: Did you find out who called her Jacob?

He asked coldly and Jacob nodded hesitantly. Jaehyun snapped towards Jacob’s direction who was looking at the ground trying to decide whether or not to tell him.

Jaehyun: Who was it?

Jacob: I want to tell you J but you have to promise not to lose your temper.

Jaehyun: Just say it!

Jacob: I-

He was cut by Y/N who jolted up. Tears in her eyes and her breathing was uneven. Jaehyun turned his head towards her just to see her fragile figure sitting up. Jimin looked at her as he quickly approached her sitting behind Jaehyun. He looked at her with worry, his heart ached looking at her in this state.

Jaehyun: Y-Y/N calm down. Take deep breaths. We all are here, nothing will happen.

As soon as Y/N’s eyes landed on Jaehyun she hugged him tightly sobbing into his chest.

Y/N: J-Jaehyun, everything is g-gone. I-I d-did everything but it still h-hurts. 

She cried harder hugging him tightly clutching his shirt and crumpling it. He hugged her back caressing her back.

Jaehyun: It’s okay. It will be okay. Now tell me who called you and why were you crying hmm?

He asked in a gentle and comforting tone. He was only like this when it came to Y/N, he was this soft and caring guy but when it came to others, he was cold and intimidating. Y/N was sobbing loudly as the previous events started playing in her head.

Y/N: I-It was H-Him..

She said still sobbing while burying her face in her chest.

Jaehyun: Who?

He asked and Y/N took deep breaths to calm herself down.

Y/N: B-BamBam.

Her voice came out as a whisper but loud enough for Jaehyun and Jimin to hear. Jimin’s Eyes widened up on hearing the name. He knew it was Y/N’s Ex but he was worried about Jaehyun’s reaction to the whole thing.

Jaehyun tightened his jaw as his hands turned into fists. Y/N continued to speak.

Y/N: He is g-getting m-m-married. H-He is getting married to someone e-else.

Everyone heard her this time and their eyes grew soft as they saw Y/N breaking down into tears. She sobbed loudly and hugged him tighter by the second.

Y/N: W-Why a-am I getting affected? W-Why does I-it hurt so much. My h-heart hurts s-so m-much. I-I d-don’t know what to do? H-He invited me t-to the wedding but I-I can’t be a part of someone’s happiness when I am sad. I-I can’t take i-it. H-Help m-me please J-J.

She cried and a sigh escaped Jaehyun’s lips. He knew that he couldn’t do anything about it but all that was on his mind was that what if it is one of BamBam’s traps to get Y/N back. 

He let go of Y/N and cupped her cheeks wiping her tears with his thumb.

Jaehyun: He doesn’t deserve you Y/N. When will you learn that you left him. It’s not that he left you. You left him for your own happiness and well being. You deserve so much better. And you are not going for that stupid wedding. He can go and f**k off. Now wipe those tears and give me a big smile.

He said but she was still looking down and her lip was trembling. Jaehyun sighed and got up from the bed.

Jaehyun: You should rest cupcake. We all will be outside if you need anything.

Y/N turned her head towards the window and looked at the moon which was shining bright along with the stars that twinkled in the calm night sky.Jaehyun looks over to Jimin and whispers to him.

Jaehyun:(Whispers) Can you stay here with her? We can’t leave her alone and she seems to be comfortable with you.

Jimin nodded and Jaehyun walked downstairs with the rest. As Jaehyun stepped downstairs his blood boiled in anger. Upon reaching the living room he slammed his fist against a near by wall causing everyone to flinch at his sudden outburst.

Jaehyun: How the f**k did he find her?! I had gotten her contact details changed and made her move here. Then how the hell did that b**t*rd find her number!

He said as he clenched his fist tightly and punched the wall once again.

Jaehyun: I know this Whole marriage thing is fake! He wants her to be affected, to be depressed and to be miserable. He knows she gets hurt but that b**ch still plays these f**king tricks!

He grabbed his gun from the back pocket.

Jaehyun: I will finish him for good today.

As he was about to walk off But Jacob grabbed his arm making him stop.

Jacob: Don’t act on your Anger J. Think before you do anything. This won't be good for Y/N or You. We will find another way just calm down okay.

Jaehyun sighed. His jaw was still tight as he was trying to contain his anger. He put his gun back as he sat down on the couch.

Jaehyun: Should we look for a new house for her? Or should I get her Contact details changed again. Or-

Jacob: Don’t do anything yet J. Maybe we are overthinking this. The thing that we can do first is send our spies to look for more details on this matter. The rest we can try to figure out later. Just relax and let’s think together to find a solution.

They all sat down and there was tension in the atmosphere as they started to think for a solution.

Meanwhile

As they left Jimn’s gaze landed on Y/N who was lost in her thoughts. She pulled the blankets to hide herself in it but her soft sobs could be heard. Jimin sighed deeply. He took his shoes of and sat on the other side of the bed. Jimin turned his gaze to Y/N and noticed that she was already looking at him with her glossy eyes as her blanket was not covering her face anymore.

Y/N:Do you know why I am crying Chim?

She asked softly and Jimin shook his head, though he knew why she was crying but he wanted to hear her out.

Y/N: First I thought I was crying because I love him.

She said and Jimin felt as if millions of daggers have stabbed his chest. He took a deep breath to compose himself and continued to listen to her.

Y/N: But when I heard him say that he is getting married I wasn’t emotional, I felt betrayed and I felt shocked. How can someone be so selfish. He promised me that he will love only me. I will be the only one in his heart. I believed him but now I realise that all of it was just a stupid lie. 

She chuckled bitterly wiping her tears but they kept on trickling down her cheeks.

Y/N: It hurts that I believed his stupid lies, I risked my life for him, his step-mother blackmailed me but I never told him just to protect him. He never cared now did he?

A sigh escaped her lips as she continued to look out the window. Jimin looked at her with worried eyes as she continued to speak.

Y/N: I have realised that my feelings for him are dying now. It makes me happy. Though I still feel something for him and it will take time for it to vanish but they will go at some point...right? I won’t love him forever right? I will move on right? 

She looked at Jimin with questions which he couldn’t answer. Jimin looked down not knowing what to say. Y/N shook her head looking out the window once again.

Y/N: I hope they go away soon so that I can start fresh. I am afraid that if I meet him one day I will believe him again because I don’t want to accept that he hurt me. But I will have to fake it till I make it.

She gave him a soft smile and he smiled back at her. She got up from the bed and dragged him to the balcony. She sat on the chair and made him sit beside her. They looked at the quiet night sky while smiling.

Y/N: For the first time, I think you were right Jimin.

Jimin raised a brow.

Jimin: About What?

Y/N: Love has become materialistic now. But Not for everyone. I still believe that Love is real and all about emotions and what you feel. Now that I have gotten a bit of a closure, I can finally open my heart for someone to come into my life I guess. Maybe, BamBam and I were never meant to be together though it’s painful to think about it but I can’t try to cover up for it any longer because it is what it is. What I have realised is that, everyone is meant to be with someone. And the people who are not meant to be together will be broken a part so that they can find their true soulmates. Have you ever wondered who you are meant to be with?

Jimin looked at her and chuckled looking back at the night sky.

Jimin: Though I don’t believe in this but now that I think about it, there is no one meant for me.

Y/N furrowed her brows as Jimin continued.

Jimin: Because no one understands me. Maybe one day when I find a person who understands me, I will think about it.

Y/N: It’s not about what you think Jimin, it’s about what your heart wants. If your heart tells you to go for a specific person, nothing nor no one can stop you from falling for that person, not even your own self. That’s the power of love and you can’t deny it.

She pat Jimin’s Head and then caressed it.

Y/N: I hope you find your special girl soon Chim. That girl will be a very lucky girl.

Jimin looked at her and chuckled.

Jimin: You think so?

Y/N: Why would I say it if I didn’t and you have to make me meet her first before anyone else okay?

She smiled at him and he nodded while chuckling. Y/N stopped caressing his head. Removing her hand from his head she turned her gaze towards the calm night sky.

Y/N: When you meet that special girl, just ask her one question.

Jimin: What is it?

She looked back at Jimin who was already looking at her. They both stared into each other’s eyes and she smiled before answering him.

Y/N: Are We Meant To Be?
