Jimin’s POV

Today is Jade’s Birthday Bash and I had gotten ready. I arrived at Y/N’s House and was sitting in the living room waiting for her while she got dressed.

I had invited a few of my friends because it’s honestly really very hard to resist Y/N’s Puppy eyes. So I invited Jin Hyung, Yoongi Hyung and Hoseok Hyung. Namjoon, Jungkook and Taehyung were already invited so it was all set.

As I was in my thoughts I heard the sound of heels approaching and I looked up. When I did my jaw dropped and My eyes popped out of my sockets. She looked- Well there were no words to describe her.

She approached me with wobbly legs and was about to fall but I caught her.

Jimin: Careful.

I said and she looked up at me with a smile.

Y/N: Sorry.

Jimin: Why are you wearing heels when you have never liked them? 

Y/N: Well I promised Jade and I can’t say no to her since it’s her birthday today. The dress and everything was her idea.

Jimin: You Look beautiful.

She smiled shyly before looking away. I saw her blush, how can Someone look so Cute yet so Hot? 

Y/N: Well you look amazing too. Many girls will drool over you today.

She said while giggling and I smirked.

Jimin: Will you?

I asked and she stopped laughing as pink tint crept on her cheeks. She looked away turning around and now her back was facing me but I knew she was blushing.

Y/N: W-We s-should be going or else we will be late.

She stuttered slowly walking to the door with wobbly legs. 

Jimin:(Mumbles) Cute.

I said with a small smirk as I walked closely behind her just in case she lost balance. She grabbed the house keys and was about to reach out to the door knob but I stopped her by standing in front of her blocking her path.

Jimin: You can take your heels off for now...You can where them when we reach their.

I said concerned and she giggled.

Y/N: It’s alright Chim. I can walk. They are just heels, no big deal.

She said waving her hand and was about to walk past me but I was faster. I carefully put one of my hands behind her legs and the other around her waist picking her up in bridal style taking her by surprise. She wrapped her arms around my neck for balance.

She looked at me with her big eyes innocent eyes and I just smirked at her.

Jimin: You are so stubborn Autumn.

I said and before she could say anything I walked out of the door while carrying her in my arms. I locked the door of her house and walked to my car. Opening the door of the passengers seat, I bent down and put her on the passengers seat. I buckled her seat belt and looked up to see her looking at me with her soft gaze which can make anyone weak in the knees.

I realised the close proximity between us. Whenever we looked into each other’s eyes it felt like the world around us had stopped and the time had frozen in its place. It was magical. My heart was beating fast. It reminded me of Y/N’s words:

“Y/N: Your heart will beat at immense speed only for that specific someone. It will not beat the same way for anyone but them.”

As her words started to ring in my head I quickly got out of the car and closed the door. I took a deep breath to straighten my thoughts before walking over to my side of the car. I sat down and she looked at me once before looking out the window. I sighed as I started driving while she looked out the window.

After a few minutes Y/N looked at me and me and tugged on my sleeve.

Jimin: Hmm?

Y/N: Can I play some music Please.

She asked with a small pout. She is very good at convincing I must say.

Jimin: Go ahead.

I said in defeat as she clapped her hands happily. She connected her phone to the car and played some music. But this time it was a bit different. It was more like emo songs.

Jimin: I never thought you would listen to such songs.

I said and she giggled.

Y/N: Well, I am getting in the mood. Jacob challenged me to act like the Y/N from middle school and high school. So you will see a new side of me today.

She said and I raised my brow in amusement.

Y/N: But I don’t wanna do it so I will find a way out of it hehe.

She giggled and I smiled.

Jimin: Why don’t you want to do it?

Y/N: It might be hard to believe but I was very cold back then.

She said I widened my eyes in disbelief.

Y/N: There were many things I don’t want to get back to. Just leave them the way they were.

She said looking out the window and changing the song. She played ‘Cry me A River’ By Justin Timberlake which was and still is one of my favourite songs. She leaned her head against the window as I continued to drive. The whole environment suddenly fell quiet as all that could be heard was the song and the sound of the car moving. It wasn’t an awkward silence though. It was rather a warm one which made both of us feel comfortable. Their was no need for words as even the silence was enough for us. Before anyone could say anything we had already arrived. 

I took off my seat belt and got out of the car. I opened the door for her and she got out of the car. I saw many eyes on her as she did which made me feel a weird burning sensation in my heart. I took my chances and linked our arms together as I put one of my arms around her waist protectively making sure she doesn’t feel uncomfortable. She looked at me and smiled and gestured for me to walk. I am glad she is the kind of person who doesn’t make a big deal out of such things. I started to walk and glared at the guys looking at her who almost immediately looked away.

As we entered I saw the loud music playing and people dancing on the dance floor. Jade came running to us and hugged Y/N. Soon all of our friends had arrived. 

Third POV

Jade: Peaches!

She hugged her tightly and Y/N hugged her back with a smile. Jimin gave Jade her gift but Y/N didn’t and Jade pouted.

Jade: Did you not get me anything~?

She whined and Y/N Giggled. She pulled out a small box from her bag. Jade furrowed her brows and took the box from her.

Y/N: Open it.

Jade: Right now?

Y/N: Yes! Open it!

She said impatiently and Jade slowly opened the box. Her eyes lit up looking at the diamond earrings that she had been eyeing for some time now.

Jade: How did you-

Y/N: I know you better than you know yourself Jade. Happy birthday Sweetie!

She hugged her this time and Jade whispered a “thank you” to her.

Jungkook and Taehyung walked to Jimin as he stood their looking at Y/N.

Taehyung: Well someone looks star struck today.

He said and Jimin snapped back to reality.

Jungkook: Wow Hyung, I have never seen you stare at any girl for more than 5 seconds and I think Y/N has officially broken that record.

He chuckled and Jimin for the first time had no reaction to their remarks. All his attention was on the guys who were starring at Y/N as the dress she wore was a short one with one strap being off shoulder. He knew their intentions and his blood boiled at the thought. Y/N just stood their completely oblivious to the whole situation. She stood their smiling innocently and Laughing at the story Scarlett was telling her.

Jimin walks up to Y/N and links their arms together. Y/N looks up at him in confusion. She leans in closer to his ear and whispers.

Y/N:(Whispers) What’s Wrong Chim?

Jimin: Nothing.

She sighed and looked back at Scarlett who was glaring at Jimin. Before Scarlett could say something Y/N Signalled for her to play it cool and that it was okay. Scarlett Exhales Sharply But then she feels a pairs of arms wrap around her waist back hugging her.

Scarlett Smiles knowing who it is and puts her hands on top of his. Jacob rested his chin on her shoulder. 

Jacob: Hey Babygirl.. You know how  beautiful you are looking.

He said Kissing her bare shoulder as she was wearing an off shoulder dress. She giggled and turned around to face him. She wrapped her arms around his neck before attaching her lips to his. They were lost in the moment that they forgot Y/N and Jimin were their with them.

Y/N looked away and Jimin chuckled.

Y/N: Oh shut up Chim. And I am not gonna let you see this As well.

She covered his eyes with her free one as the other was still linked with his arm. He laughed as she shut her eyes tightly and put her palm over his eyes.

Jimin: Such a baby.

He said and Y/N huffed ignoring his statement.

Y/N: Get a room You Two!

She said and Jacob and Scarlett broke the kiss looking at them while laughing.

Scarlett: Omo! Our Angel is getting Shy huh?

Jacob: When will you grow up Sugarplum. You are about to be 22 and you are acting like you are 5 year old watching an Adult rated movie.

He laughed and Y/N punched his Shoulder forcefully. He groaned holding his shoulder.

Y/N: Call me a Kid again and I will punch you harder.

Jacob: Yah Scarlett! Will you not help me?

Scarlett: Sorry Baby, It’s always girls over guys. Plus you both are pretty tight and I think you can manage. I am gonna grab a drink. See you later, my love.

She winked before kissing his cheek and walking away. Jacob walked upto Y/N and Put his Arm around her shoulder. 

Jacob: Hey Jimin! I am borrowing Y/N for some time. Is that cool?

Jimin was a bit hesitant but then he thought that he had no right to stop her. She is just his friend...But deep down he wished it was something else without realising.

Jimin: Sure. Why would I mind?

Y/N removed her hand from Jimin’s hold and smiled at him. 

Y/N: I will see you in a while ChimChim. You can call me if you need me.

She smiled and Both Jacob and her walked away. A sigh escaped Jimin’s lips as he saw Y/N disappear into the ground. Just then Jungkook stood next to him.

Jungkook: Hyung! Yoongi Hyung, Jin Hyung and Hoseok Hyung are here!

He said as he dragged Jimin to them. Yoongi, Jin and Hoseok stood at the bar drinking wine. 

Jimin: Hey! 

He said and all of them looked at him with a small smile.

Jin: Yah Jimin-ah! It feels like I am Seeing you after so long! You are so busy these days...

Hoseok: Yeah, You barely go clubbing or you barely throw any parties now.

Yoongi remained silent drinking the wine in his hand. All of them knew that this is how he was, so they didn’t mind it.

Taehyung: That’s because he is busy with someone these days.

He said with a smirk and titled his head to look at Jimin. Jimin rolled his eyes.

Yoongi: Who is this someone?

Yoongi asked showing some interest in the conversation.

Jimin: The person who told me to Invite you all here. She is just very good at convincing by making puppy eyes.

Jin: It’s a She....Oh Wow.

Hoseok: Puppy Eyes Huh? Well I thought she is one of your toys-

Jimin: NO.

He said sternly making everyone silent and Yoongi smirked while raising a brow looking at the younger’s behaviour.

Yoongi: Strange isn’t it...

He paused looking at his glass of wine. He stared at the liquid which was nearly done with.

Yoongi: Park Jimin, who never ever cared about any girl cares about one now. Looks like the world has spun upside down.

He chuckled drinking the remaining bit of wine in one go. Jungkook walked upto Yoongi sitting on the stool beside him.

Jungkook: That’s exactly what I said! Jimin Hyung has changed after he met Y-

He was cut off when a voice was heard in the crowd.

Y/N: Yah Park Jimin! You know how hard it was for me to escape from Jacob! He was about to make me do the dare-

She stopped mid sentence when her eyes found a familiar figure and upon recognising it her eyes widened.

Y/N: YOONGI OPPA?!

{Author's Note: I know ya'll got many questions. Like who is Yoongi to Y/N, but that is the reason why I kept it as a cliffhanger hehe. I love how protective Jimin is Like ;-;. Sometimes I wish I was the reader than the author lol. I will be posting the next chapter on tomorrow or Day after so keep check if you don't want to miss out. I am happy to be writing  for you all. Some of you might be thinking when I will post another FF. Well I can tell you that I am working on one right now and Its for all you Taehyung Stans out there.
