Third POV
Y/N: YOONGI OPPA?!
Her eyes grew wide looking at him. Yoongi looked up hearing the familiar voice and when his eyes met hers his jaw dropped.
Yoongi: Y/N?
He said and Jimin looked at them Dumbfounded. Before he could say anything Y/N ran to Yoongi hugging tightly.
Y/N: OOOOPPPPPPAAAAAAAA!
She said excitedly and Yoongi cracked a small smile while hugging her back.
Yoongi: Hey Y/N...What are you doing here?
She pulled away and looked at him with her round doe eyes.
Y/N: It’s Jades Birthday. I should be asking you why you are here..
She said and Yoongi glanced at Jimin before looking back at her.
Yoongi: Jimin invited me...
Y/N: JIMIN IS YOUR FRIEND?! REALLY?! WOW I NEVER KNEW...YOU NEVER INTRODUCED ME TO HIM IN THE PAST THOUGH...
Yoongi: Yah why are you yelling?!
Y/N: Sorry hehe...
Jimin: I am really confused... how do you both know each other?
They both looked at him and Y/N smiled at him before saying.
Y/N: He is my cousin.
She said and Jimin’s eyes grew wide and jaw nearly dropped.
Jimin: C-Cousin?
He said in a low voice feeling intimidated by Yoongi’s cold gaze and Y/N nodded.
Y/N: Oppa... Jimin is my friend too...I told him to invite his friends here. I didn’t know you were one of them.
Yoongi: Oh So you are that someone...
He said tilting his head at Jimin.
Y/N: Someone? Someone what?
She said confused, looking at Jimin for answers.
Jimin: Nothing...You shouldn’t worry about it hmm.
Jin: Hey Y/N. I am Jin...Jimin’s Friend.
Hoseok: And I am Hoseok...Also Jimin’s Friend.
They smiled politely.
Y/N: It’s nice meeting Jimin’s friends. He never reveals much about his friends but I am sure you all are amazing.
She smiled brightly at them.
Yoongi: How is everything going lately? Is Uncle still treating you the same?
He asked and Y/N’s smile dropped in an instant as she looked at the ground.
Y/N: You know how dad is, Oppa...I was never in his priorities. I was never meant to be a part of that family according to him.
She chuckled bitterly and Yoongi pulled her to his embrace. Everyone was shocked by his actions as he was never one of those people who showed a lot of affection. He was more of a quiet and ignorant kind of guy. Y/N hugged him back.
Yoongi: I told you to let me talk to him. You don’t need to live like this...And you know whenever you find it difficult their you can come over and tell me.
Y/N: Ah it’s okay Oppa. Don’t worry so much. I am fine. But we should stay in touch more.
Yoongi: Yes we should and we will. Now where is that idiot of a brother of yours.
Y/N: DanDan is about to take over Dad’s company soon. So he is busy with proving himself. I might not be a princess to my dad but I am still a princess to my Brother.
Yoongi: And you are a princess to me too angel.
He said and both of them laughed.
Hoseok: Yah Y/N did you know that Jimin sings?
Y/N: REALLY?! HE NEVER EVEN TOLD ME?!
Y/N looked at Jimin with excited eyes while Jimin glared at Hoseok.
Jin: Did he ever tell you that when he gets drunk too much he calls himself Diminie...?
He smirks and Jimin looks at him in disbelief. Y/N Giggles finding it cute.
Y/N: I won’t say that it’s a bad thing. It’s cute.
She said squishing his cheeks making a smile reach his lips.
Jungkook, Jin, Hoseok, Taehyung: So Cute!
They cooed teasingly and Jimin scoffed.
Jimin: Stop it.
Jimin looked at Y/N and tried to think of an excuse to get her away from their before his friends say something.
Jimin: Uhm..Y/N...Let’s go...Namjoon is with Jacob right? And so is Jaehyun right?
Y/N nodded and Jimin linked their arms.
Jimin: Let’s go to them then hmm?
He said and before she could respond Jimin dragged her somewhere.
Y/N: Catch you later Yoongi Oppa! Byee!
She said and waved her hand while Jimin continued dragging her.
Yoongi: If he hurts her, I swear to god I will dislocate his head from his body.
Everyone laughed at his statement and continued Drinking.
Jimin dragged Y/N to the couch where Jacob, Namjoon and Jaehyun sat. Y/N sat down beside Namjoon and Jimin sat beside her clinging onto her side possessively. He felt like killing all the guys who looked at her. It was weird how all these feelings and actions towards her were instinctive. Namjoon softy smiled at her.
Namjoon: Hey Y/N. Do you know where Scarlett is?
Y/N: Yeah she has gone to get a drink. She will be back any minute.
Namjoon: I can wait but I don’t think her boyfriend can.
He chuckled and Jacob laughed.
Jacob: Won’t deny it, because I would be lying.
Just as they were talking a girl approached Jacob sitting beside him. She put her arm around his and smirked.
Girl: Hey pretty boy...Wanna dance?
She asked while moving her hand up and down his arm. She was flirting with him but he didn’t seem to care.
Jacob: No thanks. Their must be many people who will be wanting to so go a head and find someone else.
Girl: Why should I find someone else when I want you~
She said lowly and smirked. Y/N who was looking at the whole scene looked at Jacob’s face and could see that he was uncomfortable. She knew the girl was shameless and wouldn’t budge no matter how much he tried to tell her. So she decided to step in.
Y/N: Uhh Excuse me?
She said waving her hand in front of the girl who looked at her with an annoyed expression.
Y/N: Excuse me but he has a girlfriend.
She said and The girl scoffed. The girl turned her gaze back to Jacob and Smirked sliding closer to him.
Girl: I don’t see her.
Scarlett: Turn around.
A voice was heard making Namjoon, Y/N and Jimin’s eyes widen while Jaehyun enjoyed the show.
Namjoon, Y/N, Jimin: Uh Oh.
The girl turned around to see Scarlett burning holes into her while crossing her arms. She held a Glass of wine in one hand.
Scarlett: Now you see her.
She said with a smirk. The girl scoffed.
Girl: Like I care.
Scarlett smirked wider before gulping down the whole of her drink in one go. She walked upto Jacob looking deep into his eyes before bending down to his eye level and smashing her lips onto his. He wrapped her arms around her waist and pulling her down making her sit on his lap not breaking the kiss. The girl sat their embarrassed. Scarlett opened her eyes and looked at the girl as she winked before her closing eyes again kissing him. The girl got up and stomped away. The couple broke the kiss and Scarlett looked at Jacob with an eyebrow raised.
Scarlett: And that’s how you do that.
She said getting up from his lap and sitting beside him with a smile of victory.
Scarlett: Can You Tell me what that was about?
Jacob: Do I need to?
He said wrapping his arm around her waist pulling her closer to him.
Scarlett: I hope you know that you are mine. This time I was being patient but next time I will be sure to send her to the goddamn hospital for even looking at what’s mine.
She growled and Jacob chuckled at her possessiveness.
Jacob: These things drive me crazy about you and make me fall for you even more.
He said and kissed her forehead.
Y/N: Awww.
She clicked a picture of them.
Y/N: I am officially writing a book about you both.
Namjoon: It will be named “Jarlett: A Crazily Possessive Relationship”
Y/N and Namjoon high-fived excitedly while Jaehyun laughed at their childish behaviour.
Jaehyun: I would love to buy a copy of that book.
He joined in and the trio laughed while Jimin just looked at Y/N with his soft gaze. He was not able to get enough of her smiling face. He wished that this smile never leaves her face. He had seen her upset and hurt and for him it was the most pain he had ever felt. He had seen many people in pain but seeing her even a bit upset Made him guilty and feel pain in his heart.
Soon all of them were joined by the remaining friend group and they sat on the couch. Jacob signalled something to Jade and she cleared her throat.
Jade: Y/N-ah~
She cooed and Y/N looked at her tilting her head.
Y/N: Hmm?
Jade: It’s my birthday today so you won’t say no to me today right?
She said and Y/N looked at her confused before slowly nodding to her.
Jade: So Why don’t you drink some Champagne with all of us today.
Y/N widened her eyes.
Y/N: C-Champagne? You guys know that I don’t like alcohol.
Jade: Come On Y/N! Why are you turning down the birthday girl huh?
She pouted and Y/N sighed.
Y/N: No no, I am not turning you down...it just you know...uhm...I tend to lose control with just one glass of alcohol. Who will take my responsibility if I get drunk?
All of them immediately put their hand up and Y/N giggled. She turned to look at Jimin and he had his hand up too. She raised her brows at him in amusement and he shrugged.
Jimin: What? You are my responsibility. I won’t let you out of my sight.
She giggled and finally gave up knowing she can’t win from them.
Y/N: Alright whatever.
She said and Jade gave her a glass of Champagne. She looked at it for a few seconds and then looked back at her friends who were waiting for her to take a sip.
Daymon: What are you waiting for....go on..Take a sip.
Scarlett: Yeah hurry up!
Y/N: Yah! Don’t push me! I am doing it!
She said and exhaled sharply looking weirdly at the glass.
Y/N: Here goes nothing...
She says before closing her eyes and drinking the whole of the glass in one go. Jimin looks at her amused as she makes a weird face putting the glass down.
Y/N: I still hate how it tastes!
She said making a gagging face.
Jacob: Now one more glass with all of us.
He said with a smirk and Y/N glared at him. But seeing Jades pouting face she obliged picking up another glass of champagne. Jaehyun put up his glass up.
Jaehyun: To Friendship!
Everyone: To Friendship!
They all said before taking a sip of the drink while Y/N gulped it down in one go. She was doing so as to get rid of the taste. The intoxicating taste of alcohol reached her mouth and she gulped it down quickly as to not get addicted to it. But she knew now their was no turning back.
She took another glass and drank it at once and all of them looked at her in surprise. All her bad memories were coming back to her now and she was drinking to get rid of them and enjoy tonight as a night of celebration rather than sorrow.
With that thought she took another glass and drank all of it.
Jacob: First you didn’t even want to have one and now you are not even stopping yourself. Chill Sugarplum.
Scarlett: Calm down Angel...
They all said but she didn’t seem to care at this point as she couldn’t hear them as the alcohol made the world around her just a blur. She started giggling. She put the glass down and threw her head back while leaning against the couch. Jimin looked at her noticing how drunk she was. Y/N looked back at her friends while giggling.
Y/N: I-I f-feel Like d-dancing! W-Who wants t-to dance?
She asked looking at her friends and all of them got up and she smiled in satisfaction.
Y/N: L-Let’s go t-then. S-See you at t-the dance f-floor.
She said walking away without waiting for them. It was like a different and more confident part of her personality was shining out tonight. Jimin seemed to have noticed it.
All of them followed behind her walking to the stage looking at her dancing while swaying her body to the beat of the music. Her eyes were closed and she seemed completely lost. Her friends were happy that she was finally letting go and relaxing. Not thinking much of it, all of them went to their own corners dancing to the beat while Jimin stood their looking at Y/N. Since he had nowhere else to go and since he wanted to take care of her, he walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind taking her by surprise. She turned her head a bit to the side and giggled seeing who it was.
Y/N: Hey Chim~
She said with a shaky voice and giggled. Jimin smiled at her silliness and rested his chin on her shoulder Moving their bodies side to side as the music had suddenly become slow. He could still recognise her intoxicating vanilla scent. She turned around facing him and wrapping her arms around his neck. She smiled childishly at him.
Y/N: Wow y-you look so h-handsome up close.
She said and giggled and Jimin sighed knowing she is drunk. She moved her body closer to his pressing herself flush against him.
Y/N: Y-You k-keep o-on a-asking m-me what happened t-that day right? W-when you were d-drunk?
She said still swaying her body to the music. Jimin raised a brow cautiously nodding to her. She smiled and leaned closer to his ear.
Y/N: Should I show you?
She whispered into his ear and he furrowed his brows. Before he could question her further her next action froze him and he was unable to move. She leaned back looking at him. She then put her hand in the back of his neck and pulled him closer to him before smashing her lips onto his. His eyes widened as the memories of that day flashed before his eyes. The way he kissed her and the way she stood their defenceless. He stole her first kiss?! Realisation was hitting him like a tidal wave as he stood their in the middle of the dance floor. He was brought back to reality when she pulled him closer deepening the kiss. The lights of the dance floor were dim and flickering from time to time so no one seemed to have notice.
He looked at her not even closing his eyes. He didn’t know what to do. Should he just give in? But if he does it will be wrong on his part for taking advantage of her while she was drunk. But she was the one who kissed him first so it won’t be wrong if he kisses her back right? He was fighting with his own feeling. Yes, he did want to kiss her back but was scared she would hate him for it. She might be drunk but he isn’t. But he knew he couldn’t take it anymore. He can’t control his feelings and emotions anymore. His brain shut down and his heart had taken over his every action now. He gave in, slowly closing his eyes and kissing her back while wrapping his arms around her waist pulling her closer to him. Their lips moving in sync made the whole world around them stop and for them only this moment mattered nothing else. None of them cared who saw them anymore.
Though it looked like Y/N was fully drunk but she was still stable. Stable enough for her to remember this moment which she will surely cherish for a long long time. Though she didn’t mean to kiss him, it was all because she got her confidence due to the alcohol which made her get carried away, she was out of her mind blabbering nonsense but still was a bit conscious of her surroundings. But this moment felt right. One that she would never want to forget because she knows it will never happen again or will it...? Jimin on the other hand felt a weird kind of emotion. It was not the first time he had kissed someone then why did he feel like this? He felt Happiness, excitement and one more emotion that he had never felt before but it made his whole body tingle. He felt Y/N smile in between the kiss which made his heart skip a beat as he savoured the sweetness of her lips, not being able to get enough of it. It was like he felt addicted to this moment that he was sharing with her. He wished for it to never end. Now he knew how he felt...he didn’t want this to be just friendship...but he still didn’t know what he wanted it to be. He was confused. Not knowing what is right or wrong he just enjoyed what was happening right now.
They both didn’t want to end it but pulled away due to the lack of air. He rested his forehead against hers. She was breathing heavily but he wasn’t, he just smiled. She was about stumble back but he held her waist making her stable.
She giggled and cupped his cheeks looking at him in the eyes.
Y/N: T-Thanks for b-being their when I needed you.
She said and hugged him by his neck tightly. Her eyes suddenly became slightly teary but she was quick enough to wipe those tears and put a smile on her face once again. She quickly pulled back moving away from him and turned around.
Y/N: Excuse me.
She said walking away while holding her head. She was feeling dizzy because of the excess alcohol which she had consumed. Jimin stood their lost in his thoughts as he saw her figure disappearing into the crowd. What just happened? He thought. He snapped back to reality and quickly followed behind her. As he was about to hold her wrist a voice was heard making her stop walking.
Jinha: Kang Y/N....
She said as Y/N turned to look at her with a blank expression. Jimin stood their looking at the situation which was about to take place in front of him right now.
Jinha: Well, Well, Well, we meet again.
She said smirking as she walked up to Y/N. Suddenly the music stopped as everyone looked at The scene happening in between the two. Jinha Glanced at Jimin and laughed.
Jinha: You are such a Shameless little b**ch... Getting together with another guy so soon huh?
Y/N: This is between me and you Jinha, don’t involve others.
Y/N said calmly but she was enraged deep down because She pulled Jimin into this. Y/N crossed her arms over her chest tapping her foot impatiently.
Jinha: Who are you to order me around huh?
She said and scoffed. Their was silence as everyone looked at what was going on. All of Y/N’s friends and Jimin’s friend stood their watching. Scarlett was about to approach them but Jacob stopped her before she did.
Jinha: Oh Did you hear?
She said pulling her left hand out and putting it right In front of Y/N. Y/N saw a Diamond ring on her ring finger. She smirked looking at Y/N’s Confused expression and soon a chuckle escaped her lips.
Jinha: I got engaged you know...
She said and Y/N tilted her head confused on how this should concern her. Scarlett looked at her with Wide eyes and jaw dropped. Scarlett whispered to her friends.
Scarlett:(whispers) Who would get engaged to a witch like her?!
She whisper shouted and all of them laughed silently but soon became silent just to hear the rest of the conversation. They were standing right behind Jimin so Jimin could hear everything that was being talked about.
Jinha: Don’t you wanna know who I got engaged to?
She asked and Y/N gave no reaction Looking around the place not looking at her. She was waiting for this to get over.
Jinha: Well I gave you the invitation 2 days ago didn’t I, well my fiancΓ©e did not me...
She said and Y/N snapped her head in Jinha’s Direction looking at her in confusion.
Y/N: What are you talking about?
Jinha: Didn’t BamBam Call you and tell you about our marriage?
Jinha smirked at her while everyone looked at her with their jaw dropped. Y/N’s Eyes widened as she looked at her in utter shock not being able to say a word. Her whole world was spinning as her past resurfaced in her mind.
Flashback~
{4 years Ago}
{East High University}
Y/N walked into the university and ran up to her lockers to grab her books as she was late.
She took them out and was about to walk to her class when suddenly someone slapped the books down making the land on the ground. Before she could react she was pushed to the ground forcefully making her head hit the nearby locker. She saw her forehead bleed and a tear escaped her eye because of the stinging pain.
Jinha: Aww, little B**ch is crying huh?!
She said grabbing her hair and making her stand up from the ground. Y/N hissed in pain as Jinha tightened her grip.
Jinha: I told you to stay away from Jaehyun didn’t I?! What do you not understand in that?!
She said slapping her making her lip bleed. She pushed her to the ground harshly making her whimper. Jinha along with her minions circled Y/N and started to kick her weak body lying on the floor. She screamed, cried and begged for them to stop but they didn’t stop.
BamBam: STOP IT!
He said rushing over to Y/N while pushing All Of Jinha’s minions aside.
BamBam: HOW DARE YOU TOUCH HER HUH?!
He asked with rage. Anger filled in his eyes as he saw Y/N’s nearly unconscious figure. He glared at Jinha making her gulp.
Jinha: I-I am s-Sorry.
She said looking down.
BamBam: Next time you even lay a finger on her I will make sure you regret the day you were born you hear me?! I will make your life hell! Remember messing with her means messing with me! To reach to her you have to get through me first! Get that in you damn head! Now get lost!
He growled and all of them walked away hurriedly. BamBam looked back at Y/N with his softened gaze.
BamBam: Are you okay Dove?
He said carefully making her stand up.
Y/N: I am fine Pumpkin. Don’t worry, it’s a usual thing...
She said looking down.
BamBam: How can you just let them bully you around huh?
He said looking at he worriedly as she started to walk away limping.
Y/N: It’s alright BamBam, I am used to it now...
She said and BamBam rushed behind her. He stood in front of her blocking her path.
Y/N: What are you doing Pumpkin?
She asks raising a brow and he crossed his arms over his chest.
BamBam: You can’t even walk, let’s get to the infirmary to get your wounds Bandaged.
He bent down in front of her and she looked at him confused.
BamBam: Get on my Back come on.
He said and Y/N sighed.
Y/N: But-
BamBam: Not buts. Either you climb on or I am carrying you over my shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
She sighed and got on his back. He started to walk to the infirmary. Putting her arms around his neck she put her chin on his shoulder. He smiled feeling her this close to him.
BamBam: I won’t let them hurt you anymore dove.
End of Flashback~
A tear escaped Y/N’s eye as she remembered that memory but she didn’t let anyone see it. The girl BamBam protected her from was the one he was marrying. How could he? He never loved her? Was She just a game for her?
Jinha: He left you for me... He loves me and proposed to me just a few weeks ago.
She said and Y/N clenched her fist tightly feeling her heart getting heavier by the second.
Jinha: He left you because of your little b**chy tricks. He came for me because I am prettier and from a loving family. What about your family Y/N? Huh?
She said and Y/N felt anger burn inside her.
Y/N: Stop it Jinha!
She said between gritted teeth and Jinha chuckled.
Jinha: Why should I stop?! Let everyone know who you are! Even your pretty boy over there.
She said glancing at Jimin before looking back at Y/N. Jacob knew that Y/N’s last straw was about to be pulled, all the anger she had been building up for the past few years.
Jacob: Guys, Jinha is pulling her last straw. We need to do something before Jinha gets a taste of Y/N’s anger which she has been holding in for years!
He whisper shouted and Jimin heard him so he quickly looked back at Y/N who was breathing heavily trying to compose herself. She dug her nails into her palms that caused her palm to start bleeding.
Jinha: Your father hated you! And still hates you because you are a useless piece of sh*t!
She spat and Y/N’s anger grew more. How dare she even speak of her family?! Did BamBam tell her about this? How could he?
Y/N: SHUT UP!
She spoke loudly but Jinha smirked feeling satisfied with her reaction and continued.
Jinha: BamBam left you because you were cheating on him. And Well your mother preferred to die rather than having a b**ch like you as her daught-
But before she could continue she was pushed to the ground with Y/N on top of her. Y/N held her throat nearly choking her.
Y/N: I told you to shut up didn’t I?! Huh?! Answer me now Goddammit!
She growled tightening her grip around her neck making her cough. Scarlett Ran up to Y/N trying to pull her up from Jinha but Y/N was too angry to be able to realize what she was doing.
Scarlett: Jimin! Jacob! A little help here!
Jinha: Y-You are a-a L-Little b**ch who no one loves!
She said breathlessly with a smirk though Y/N was choking her but she didn’t stop. Y/N took her gun out and placed it on Jinha’s temple. Jimin’s eyes widened and he ran to Y/N. He got her up from above Jinha and hugged her from the back.
Y/N: Leave me! I will kill her! Let me go!
She said struggling in his hold but he hugged her tighter, Jaehyun took the gun out of her hands as their was only anger visible in her eyes.
Jimin: It’s okay... Calm down...I am right here...
He whispered into her ears in a calm voice trying to calm her down.
Jaehyun Walked up to Jinha with anger as she was coughing.
Jinha: You saw what she just did! She is a Goddamn monster! She tried to kill me!
She spoke as she cried fake tears. Realization hit Y/N as she stopped struggling her whole body was now shaking.
Scarlett: Stop Your drama B**ch! We all heard what you said! If it was me my reaction would’ve been way worse! Everyone here knows Y/N is not like that!
Jaehyun: Get Out.
He spoke angrily not looking at Her.
Jinha: W-what?
She stuttered and Jaehyun lost his cool.
Jaehyun: I SAID GET THE F**K OUT DAMMIT!
Jinha flinched and ran out of the party while fake crying.
Y/N: What am I doing..?
These words escaped her mouth in a whisper as Jimin hugged her tighter and pulled her closer to him as he felt her body shaking.
She got away from Jimin’s embrace and looked around to see many pairs of eyes staring at her making her insecure.
Y/N: I am a-a m-monster..?
She whispered as she looked at her trembling hands. Jimin tried approaching her but she Backed away. Tears formed in her eyes and she felt her head pounding because of the alcohol. The tears escaped her eyes at last as she fisted her dress in her palm. She gulped the lump in her throat and finally spoke.
Y/N: I am sorry for ruining everything for you guys.
She said as she turned to her heels and ran out of the party before anyone could follow behind her. Jimin Ran behind her and as he reached the parking lot he looked everywhere but couldn’t find her.
She was gone...
{Meanwhile}
[Somewhere in Seoul]
Man: We have tracked down her location boss...
As he heard his man’s words, a smirk of satisfaction made its way to his face. He put down his glass of wine on the centre table looking at the man as he leaned back in his seat.
???: Great, after so long we finally found her... did you get the other details?
Man: Yes, we got her contact details, her addresses, all her recent whereabouts and places that she visits a lot.
???: Good work... You did what no one was able to do for years. I will make sure you get your money. Now leave!
He said coldly and the man bowed before leaving. As the man left, he got up from the couch walking up to a near by drawer. Opening the drawer he dug deep and finally took out a picture from under the files. He smiled looking at the picture and soon spoke.
