Third POV

Y/N Fluttered her eyes open and looked around the room. 

Y/N: So it wasn’t a dream.

A small smile plastered across her face as she recalled everything. She was finally safe. 

She took support of her elbows and slid her body upward to sit upright on the bed. She looked out the window only to see the setting sun. It looked beautiful.

She was so mesmerised by the view that she didn’t notice that the door knob had been twisted. The door slowly opened revealing Taehyung looking at Y/N with a small smile.

Taehyung: So you are awake…

He said and Y/N looked back at him realising his presence.

Y/N: Yeah I just woke up. Where is Jimin?

She asked and Taehyung chuckled.

Taehyung: He is downstairs with Jungkook. He didn’t want anyone to disturb you but I found a way to sneak upstairs.

Y/N giggled as she scooted a bit to the centre of the bed. She pat the space beside her as Taehyung smiled. He walked closer to the bed and sat beside her getting himself under the blanket. His gaze shifted to the scenery out of the window.

Y/N: It’s beautiful isn’t it.

She said with a small smile and Taehyung nodded. He suddenly said something that made her confused.

Taehyung: You are really important to Jimin, Y/N. 

He said looking out the window while Y/N looked at Him.

Y/N: Well he is important to me too.

She said and Taehyung smiled turning his gaze back to her.

Taehyung: He changed a lot after meeting you. He used to be very cold but whenever he is with you it’s like there is a different part of him that shines out.

He said and Y/N tried to understand his words. It was a bit hard for her to believe that Jimin had changed so much because of her. She always wants people to be their true self in front of her, so she wondered whether this was Jimin’s true self or was he just holding a shield to protect her from the darkness of his world. Taehyung spoke once again catching her attention.

Taehyung: Thank You Y/N.

He said and Y/N furrowed her brows as she looked at him.

Taehyung: Thank You for being the reason for his happiness.

He said and his words made her heart race. Did she really have such a big affect on him? She was about to question him when the door creaked open revealing Jimin leaning against the door frame glaring at Taehyung.

Jimin: I told you not to disturb her didn’t I?

He growled and Taehyung Shrugged Looking Back at Y/N.

Taehyung: You don’t mind me being here right Y/N?

Y/N smiled and shook her head making Taehyung smirk looking at Jimin.

Taehyung: See! She doesn’t mind it so I am staying here with her.

He said holding her hand out of the blue and Jimin’s hands formed fists. He felt his heart burning as he clenched his jaw. Taehyung looked at Jimin and could easily see the jealousy visible in his dark brown orbs which answered all his questions. He let go of her hand as he saw Jimin relax. He looked at Y/N with the corner of his eye and caught her looking at Jimin with the sweetest smile. Upon seeing Y/N’s smile Jimin’s heart had completely melted as he got so lost looking at her.

Y/N: I think I should be going home now, it’s getting pretty late.

She said looking at the time. Jimin and Taehyung exchanged glances as they remembered that Y/N had no clue that she was staying there from now on.

As Y/N started to get up Jimin rushed to her holding her by her shoulders making her stop her movement as she looked at him confused.

Jimin: The Thing is…You will be staying here from now.

He said and Y/N furrowed her brows.

Y/N: Why?

She asked and Jimin thought for a while. He can’t just tell her the real reason, she might panic.

Jimin: Jaehyun wanted to get your house renovated.

He said making Taehyung raise a brow as he chuckled. Jimin glared at him making him stop.

Taehyung: Yeah that’s why.

He said clearing his throat.

Y/N: I can stay somewhere else then. I don’t want to burden you Chim.

She said and his eyes softened as he held her hands in his. Both their hearts were beating fast and in sync. 

Jimin: I don’t mind you staying here Y/N, staying here is for your own good.

He said and Y/N’s brows furrowed hearing his words. She then pulled her hands away from his as she looked at him straight in the eye.

Y/N: The renovation is just an excuse isn’t it. You are hiding something aren’t you.

She said looking straight into his eyes not even looking away for a single second. Just by his eyes she could read him like an open book. She knew immediately that he was hiding something and leaned back while crossing her arms over her chest.

Y/N: Spill it.

She said and Jimin looked at her with an eyebrow raised.

Jimin: What?

Y/N: What did Jaehyun say to you…?

She said and both of them looked at Y/N with wide eyes.

Y/N: Did he state the obvious again by saying that BamBam had found my location so I need to live somewhere else. After that he must’ve said that Jimin is the only one he doesn’t know of so let’s send Y/N here. Win-Win.

She said sarcastically and both Jimin and Taehyung looked at her with their jaws dropped. 

Taehyung: How did you-

Y/N: He is my best friend. I know him like an open book. How can he be so stupid sending me here!

She said as she closed her eyes massaging her temples.

Y/N: Sending me here means putting you in danger as well. I have said this once and I will say it again, I will not let people who are special to me be hurt because of me.

She said as Jimin’s heart fluttered upon hearing these words. He took Y/N’s hands in his once again. As he looked into her eyes.

Jimin: Listen to me. I want you to be safe. If you get hurt again I won’t be able to forgive myself. I will be fine as long as you are here. I want you to stay here and I am not asking anymore.

He said sternly taking both Y/N and Taehyung by surprise.

Jimin: Let me show you your room.

He said taking her hand and making her stand up from the bed. He then held her hand and dragged her out of the room Making sure she doesn’t get hurt. Taehyung was left alone in the room as he leaned against the head rest of the bed looking at the scenery outside.

Taehyung: I hope they realise soon enough.

Jimin walked with Y/N as they reached the room. Y/N’s room and Jimin’s room was separated by one room which stood in between them. He opened the door and walked in followed by Y/N. She looked around the room and Jimin just stared at her face with a small smile.

Jimin: This is your room.

He said and she looked at him with a grateful look.

Y/N: Thank You.

She said and suddenly wrapped her arms around his torso taking him by surprise. He hesitantly hugged her back and put his head on her shoulder. He noticed that she was still wearing his hoodie and that thought made him smile. Y/N felt warmth in his embrace as she hugged him tighter feeling warm and safe. 

She sighed and hesitantly pulled away. As she did Jimin felt a slight emptiness but ignored it giving his whole attention to Y/N. 

Jimin: If you need anything, you can just tell me and your clothes have already been arranged in the closet so you can go and change if you want.

He said before walking up to the door. He looked at her one last time before exiting the room leaving Y/N all alone as she threw herself on the bed as a big sigh escaped her lips.

Y/N: Who would’ve thought things would’ve ended up like this? I don’t want anyone to be in danger because of me. I don’t want Jimin to be hurt. I won’t be able to forgive myself if anything happens to him. But why do I feel so safe here? Maybe this is for the better…right?

She said looking at the ceiling in wonder. What she didn’t know was that Jimin stood on the other side of the door hearing everything that she had to say. He sighed as he turned away from the door.

Jimin: I won’t let you regret staying here Autumn. I will make sure that you stay safe and I will make sure nothing happens to you because I-

He stopped himself as he thought of what he wanted to say next but his mind went completely blank. His mind might be blank but his heart knew exactly how to complete the sentence.

He shook his head as he walked down the stairs heading toward the kitchen.

{1 hour later}

Y/N got out of the shower as she changed into her pyjamas. She looked at herself in the mirror with a blank look. She saw the new wounds all over her body as a sad chuckle escaped her mouth.

Y/N: This is what you get for trying to escape your fate, Kang Y/N.

She said and suddenly felt a bit hungry but the thought of the stale food made her feel sick. She clenched her fist tightly and sat down on the bed facing the window. Looking at the night sky, tears streamed down her cheeks. She felt her whole body become numb as everything played through her mind. 

Her peaceful and calm world had suddenly faced a terrible hurricane which had wrecked and destroyed everything. She knew it would take her time to get back to normal. But she feared that she will never be able to get out of this. Suddenly she heard a faint knock on the door but didn’t respond to it as her body and mind were too lost.

The door opened revealing Jungkook standing their looking at her back. He felt guilt for seeing his friend in the same position that she was in 2 years ago. 

Jungkook: Y/N…

He said and Y/N quickly wiped her tears before turning around to look at him.

Y/N: Yes Kookie…?

She said as her face didn’t have that same glow. It looked rather dull and her eyes were filled with tears of pain.

He walked over to her and made her stand.

Jungkook: Lets Go and eat.

He said with his Bunny smile and Y/N looked down before looking back up at him.

Y/N: I am not that hungry.

She said and Jungkook shook his head.

Jungkook: You have to eat to stay healthy. And I am not taking no for an answer. Jimin hyung gave me special orders to bring you down no matter what. He made dinner by himself and he never does that for anyone. Now let’s go!

Y/N looked at him confused but before she could question him further he dragged her out of the room. They walked into the kitchen as they saw Taehyung sitting near the kitchen counter and Jimin near the stove preparing something.

Jungkook: Look whose here.

He said and both Jimin and Taehyung looked up to see Y/N who just looked down blankly. Her thoughts were all over the place making her feel uneasy.

Jimin looked at her with a small smile. She looked up to meet his gaze and he just looked at her sweetly making her heart flutter. All the uneasiness and anxiousness she felt had somewhat disappeared just by looking at him once. How can she feel on Cloud 9 just by looking at him. She snapped out of her thoughts as Jungkook wrapped his arm around her shoulder making her walk towards the kitchen counter. He made her settle down on the near by chair and he himself sat beside her. She looked at Jimin as he looked back at her feeling his mind become at peace.

Jungkook: What have you made Hyung?

He asked as his eyes wandered around the kitchen counter. Jimin diverged his gaze to Jungkook and raised a brow.

Jimin: This is not for you, it’s for Y/N. I have ordered takeaway for you guys.

He said and both Taehyung and Jungkook looked at him with pleading eyes while Y/N looked at him in complete shock. Taehyung looked at the food which was looking amazing and then looked back at Jimin.

Jimin: I have made Kimchi With Ramen for Y/N and for you guys the pizza will be arriving soon.

He said taking his apron off.

Taehyung: Y/Niee~ you wouldn’t mind if I tasted a bit of it right?

He asked with innocent eyes and Y/N looked at him with a small smile.

Y/N: Ye-

Jimin: NO! You know she will say yes but my word is the last word, you get that Kim Taehyung.

He said and all of them became silent. Jimin passed the plate to Y/N when suddenly the doorbell rang and both Taehyung and Jungkook ran to the door knowing it was Pizza. Y/N and Jimin now sat beside each other as Y/N looked at the food in front of her. Though she had lost her appetite, she knew the amount of effort Jimin had put in to make her the meal. She slowly grabbed her fork as Jimin saw her each and every move carefully.

She took a small bite and the amazing taste hit her taste buds making her hum in satisfaction as she was eating proper food after a long time.

She looked over at Jimin who was already looking at her. She smiled at him before speaking. 

Y/N: It tastes amazing, Thank You.

She said and Jimin smiled back at her as he rested his chin on his palm admiring her face.

Jimin: No need to thank me Y/N. I am glad you liked it.

Tears started stream down her cheeks as he let go of the fork looking at herself, slowly examining her body. It was hurting her. Making her feel dirty. She put her hand on the cut on her arm as a soft moan escaped her mouth and more tears streamed down her cheeks. Jimin turned his head towards her as he saw her tearful eyes staring at her arm making his heart clench.

He held her hand but she still kept on looking at her arms and legs only to see more cuts and bruises making her eyes well up more. She started to rub her arms vigorously hoping that somehow the marks would disappear that way.

Y/N: Why?

She whispered making Jimin’s heart tear a part. He pulled her into his embrace but she didn’t mind it as her eyes became tearful again. She rested her head against his chest as she could Here his heart beating rapidly. A small sigh escaped her lips as he pulled her closer slowly rubbing her back trying to calm her down.

Y/N: Don’t touch me Jimin, I am d-dirty. I am f-filthy and d-disgusting. Don-Don’t touch me.

She said and started to pull away but Jimin tightened his grip as he stroked her hair with one hand. He put his lips close to her ear and whispered.

Jimin: You are not dirty. You are the most beautiful girl I have ever met. You are my autumn. Always remember that.

He whispered softly into her ear as he put a strand of her hair behind her ear. Her breathing hitched as she felt his hot breath against her skin. But right now it somehow didn’t matter. All his actions were comforting to her. She had found her own safe place just by being in his embrace.

Taehyung and Jungkook stood at the door looking at both of them in each others embrace.

Jungkook: I never realised how good they looked together.

He said as a chuckle escaped Taehyung’s lips.

Taehyung: I always knew.

He said as he turned to his heel walking away carelessly to the living room while a Confused Jungkook followed behind him.

Jimin pulled away slightly trying to look at her face but she had hidden herself in his embrace making a small smile form on his face.

Jimin: You should sleep now. Let’s go to your room okay?

He said softly and she pulled away looking down and nodded. Jimin took her hand and guided her Up the staircase and towards her room. He tucked her in bed as Y/N observed his each and every move carefully.

He walked to the door and looked back at Y/N.

Jimin: Goodnight Autumn.

He said as he switched the lights off and exited the room. Y/N looked up at the ceiling as her thoughts clouded her mind. They were the reason why she wasn’t able to sleep. She kept on changing sides but wasn’t able to sleep no matter how hard she tried. 

After tossing and turning for hours, she sat up on her bed as she looked out the window. The thought of Jimin hugging her tightly last night made her heart flutter as she felt her stomach flip.

Hesitantly, she got out of bed and made her way to Jimin’s room.

Jimin looked up at the ceiling as anger filled his mind. He sat up on his bed going through a few documents and important emails but his mind seemed clouded by the thoughts of Y/N. He has to find a way to make this right. He didn’t want to let her get hurt. 

He ran his fingers through his hair. He always did that whenever he felt stressed.

Just as he was in his thoughts he heard the door creak open as a head peeked in through the door.

A small smile made its way to his face as he saw her looking around the dark room innocently. He switched the lamp on making her flinch as she jumped up in surprise.

Jimin: Why aren’t you asleep yet?

He asked with an eye brow raised and closing his laptop. She stood near the door fiddling with her fingers.

Y/N: W-Well I…uhm…

Jimin: Come a bit closer, why are you standing so far?

He said softly as she made slow steps to him still looking down at her feet.

Jimin: Now say what you had to say.

Y/N: Can I sleep here…?

She asks softly still looking at her feet and his heart swells at her words.

Y/N: I can’t sleep and I was able to sleep here last night.

She said with a small pout as she looked down not daring to meet his eyes. Embarrassment was clearly visible in her eyes. 

Jimin: Sure.

He said with a smile as she looked up at him. She made her way to the other side of the bed. Both of them sat upright awkwardly. Jimin found it odd somehow since it was not the first time he was sharing a bed with someone still it felt different while Y/N’s cheeks had tinted crimson.

Jimin: I’ll sleep on the couch. You can sleep on the bed.

He said slowly getting up but Y/N held his wrist making him stop his actions. He looked at her with a quizzical look and she looked down at her lap.

Y/N: The bed is big enough for both of us. You can sleep here.

She said softly and he smirked before sitting back down. He looked back at his wrist as Y/N was still holding it. Y/N noticed his gaze and immediately let go of his wrist. He chuckled and she looked away clearing her throat. 

Y/N slid herself down and under the duvet and Jimin did the same. A click sound was heard before the lights went out. The only source of light was the moonlight coming out of the window which made the room more comfortable. She faced him as he looked at the ceiling in his thoughts. She looked at his side profile taking in all of his features. From his sharp jawline to his dark brow orbs, she found everything about him so fascinating.

Her gaze shifted to his lips as flashbacks from the night of the party flashed in front of her eyes. Somehow it confused her how he never even mentioned it. Did he regret it? Or was she just every other girl for him? Her heart feels heavy as the thought crosses her mind. Jimin cocked his head to the side as he looked at Y/N who was already looking at him with the most innocent eyes.

Jimin: Well I never knew I was that good looking.

He said with a smirk and Y/N widened her eyes before she closed her eyes while biting her tongue.

Y/N: Aish.

She whispered and Jimin chuckled while turning to his side looking at her while she closed her eyes as to not face the embarrassment.

She opened one eye only to see him smirking at her while she felt cut off guard under his gaze. Her thoughts about the party started to play in her mind again as a saddened expression took over her face. She turned over so that her back was touching the mattress as she looked up at the ceiling with glossy eyes.

Jimin raised a brow at the sudden change in atmosphere. From playful it suddenly became into a quiet and awkward one.

Y/N: Do you hate me too?

She asked scared to listen to his answer. He knitted his brows together.

Jimin: What’s with the sudden question?

Y/N: N-Never mind. Forget it.

She said and turned her back towards him looking out the window with her hand tightly gripping onto the mattress.

Y/N: “I shouldn’t have asked any questions in the first place. He might be thinking that I am crazy.”

She thought as she looked out the window, seeing the moonlight shining making everything around them more visible. She always had this fear that one day everyone will hate her. She could here everyone’s words ring in her head.

“Mr Kang: I hated you ever since the day you were born!”

“BamBam: I hate you for lying to me and betraying me!”

“Jinha: You are a worthless little b**ch who everyone hates!”

“Kelsea: Jacob hates me because of you! I hate you! You will never find happiness!”

“I hate you! You will never be happy! You will never be loved you damn home-wrecker! I wish you die! You are such a filthy little b**ch! Looking at you makes me feel disgusted!”

She closed her eyes as tears pricked at the corners of them. A gasp escaped her lips as she felt an arm wrap around her waist and pulling her backwards. Her back collided with Jimin’s Chest as he tightened his grip around her. He brought his lips closer to her ear sending goosebumps all over her body. His hot breath hit her skin making her breathing accelerate as it was somehow comforting.

Jimin: I don’t hate you Y/N. I could never hate you. I don’t hate you rather I-

He stopped as he didn’t know what he was going to say. Was he going to say “ Love you”? That’s insane, he thought as Y/N knitted her eyebrows together and turned to her side to face him. Their faces inches apart as she looked into his eyes and he did the same.

Y/N: Rather what?

She asked with curiosity and worry. He looked into her eyes making his heart leap out of his chest as he saw the innocence in her eyes. He cupped her cheek with one hand as he wiped her tears with the pad of his thumb.

Jimin: I can never hate you Autumn. Never ever think that.

He said lowly making it barely audible. Y/N half smiled and looked at him with soft eyes. She tried to move back to her place as the close proximity was only making her shy but Jimin just tightened his grip around her. It was almost like if he loosened his grip she would disappear. He pulled her closer to him and she gasped.

Jimin: Can we stay like this for some time?

He asked softly and Y/N’s gaze softened. She nodded and he smiled before bringing her closer to him. Her ear close to his chest which made her hear his heart beats accelerating. She hesitantly wrapped her arms around his torso which made a wave of relief wash over his restless heart which was shaking of anger just a few minutes ago. She did affect him and He wouldn’t deny it. 

Y/N: Goodnight Chim~

Jimin: Goodnight Autumn~
