Third POV
Y/N looked at Jacob with wide eyes while he smirked back at her. Jimin looked at the scene in confusion while everyone in the group hooted.
Y/N: W-What do you mean?
Jacob: I mean what you want it to mean. We will see some things to remember the old days. Well your old days.
Y/N: Don’t you dare!
She said as she got up trying to take the pen drive from him but he stretched his hand up high. She tried to reach it but couldn’t.
Scarlett: You Guys still act as if you are in kindergarten.
She said shaking her head while Y/N tried to reach the pen drive.
Jacob: Come On Sugarplum, stop being such a buzzkill. On the bright side, You will finally see the older you and see how much you have changed.
He shrugged and Y/N pouted.
Y/N: Jacob please, I’ll do anything but don’t play it!
She tugged at his sleeve with pleading eyes.
Jacob: No can do.
He said and Y/N pouted making all of them laugh. She sat down while crossing her arms over her chest as she whined. Suddenly the sound of footsteps was heard and all of them turned to See Jungkook and Taehyung walking up to them.
Jacob: Hey Guys! You are just in time for the show.
Y/N: Could this get any worse than it already is!
She said as she tugged at her hair. Then a thought struck her mind making her furrow her brows.
Y/N: Fine you can play it, but you need to answer a question before you do.
She said and he nodded telling her to go on as he inserted the pen drive into the Home theatre system.
Y/N: We weren’t that close in middle school. Then why the hell do you have videos of me in a pen drive?
She asked and a smirk formed on his lips as he looked at her with the remote in hand.
Jacob: The videos aren’t mine. I got them from someone.
Y/N: Who-
She stopped as her eyes widened. She covered her mouth with her hand.
Y/N: YOU ASKED MY MIDDLE SCHOOL BEST FRIEND DIDN’T YOU! THAT LITTLE PIECE OF-
She said and balled her hands into fists as she jolted upright and all of them looked at her surprised by her outburst. None of them knew who her middle school best friend was except Scarlett, Jacob and Jaehyun.
Jade: Who was your middle school best friend anyways, you never tell us whenever we ask you, I remember you crying when he moved away.
She said as she looked at Y/N curiously. The minute Jimin heard ‘He’, he snapped his his head in Y/N’s direction.
Y/N: HE IS A DAMN PIG THAT’S WHAT HE IS! THAT’S WHY HE WASN’T PICKING UP MY CALLS TODAY MORNING!
She said and punched the air.
Jade: Give us the name of the guy.
Y/N: He shall not be named because he does not deserve the importance and because I am mad at him. And…
She turned to Jacob.
Y/N: Since You talked to him last tell that Pig that I am not talking to him and he is a backstabbing little rat!
She said as she sat back down beside Jimin with a pout as she crossed her arms over chest.
Jacob: Anyways lets begin shall we?
He said as he pressed play on the remote and the video started to play.
As it started a school hallway was visible and the sound of people talking was heard.
Jacob: Oh god Emo Y/N is coming!
He said pointing at the screen as Y/N covered her face with her hands as a girl wearing headphones moves into the frame.
???: Kang Y/N!
A voice said as Teenage Y/N opened her locker door taking her books out.
???: YAH! Y/N-AH!
Y/N: What?!
She snapped as she looked angrily at the camera.
Y/N: Stop f**king filming me. You know I don’t like it.
She said as she slammed her locker door shut causing the people in the living room to flinch.
Y/N: I know you are my best friend so don’t annoy me, I don’t like to fight with you.
She said slightly softly and a glimpse of the Y/N at present could be seen in her. She didn’t change that much after all.
Y/N: Now switch the f**king phone off! We are late for class!
She said as she covered the camera with her palm.
Jimin: Never knew that you cussed.
He whispered over to Y/N as she whined.
Y/N: Stop talking about it!
She said as she put her head on his shoulder and somehow he found it comforting. He put his arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer to him. Scarlett looked over at them with softened eyes, somehow surprised by Jimin’s actions. Jacob looked at them and clearly could see how they looked like a couple. How come they can’t see it? He turned back to the screen with a sigh.
Jacob: NEXT VIDEO!
He announced as he pressed a button to move to the next video.
As the video started to play, a group of people could be seen gathered around something and the voice from the earlier clipping could be heard. As he looked at a random boy.
???: Hey! Have you seen Y/N?
The boy points in the direction of the crowd as the person holding the phone starts to run. Pushing through the crowd he saw Y/N lying down on the floor nearly unconscious as Jinha stood near her holding her by her hair.
As Jimin looked at the video, his eyes widened. He looked over at Y/N who just looked blankly at the ground not even wanting to look at these past memories. This was something she wanted to leave behind and Jimin knew that too well.
???: Hey hold my phone.
The person says handing the Phone to someone as he rushes over to Y/N. His back facing the camera.
???: THE F**K IS WRONG WITH YOU JINHA?! IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO HER I WON’T HESITATE TO HURT YOU! I WON’T F**KNG CARE IF YOU ARE A GIRL THEN!
He says as he picks Y/N up before taking her to the nurse’s office and the video ends there.
The room is silent as only Y/N’s sharp breathing could be heard.
Y/N: He is just like Jaehyun, just ten times more protective.
She says and looks down as memories of her best friend flood in her mind. She closes her eyes as she throws her head back.
Y/N: Play the next one already so that we can be done with this nuisance.
She waves her hand as her eyes are still closed. She leans her head against Jimin’s shoulder once again and he looks at her with an understanding look. The next video starts to play and this time it’s Jacob holding the phone as we see his face.
Jacob: This One is at the beginning of High school.
He says as the video starts to play. The Jacob in the video walks into a room as a crying Y/N comes into view.
Y/N: L-Leave me alone. I don’t want to talk to anyone but M-M-
She chokes on her words as she starts to cry harder. Her hands covering her face. Scarlett enters the room with a box of tissues with Jade behind her.
Scarlett: OMO! Don’t cry Y/N-Ah. Come here.
She says as she sits on the bed close to Y/N and opens her arms. Y/N Hugs her while sobbing.
Y/N: W-Why did he leave? H-He said he w-won’t e-ever l-leave.
She said crying louder and Scarlett rubbed her back.
Scarlett: Do you want me to call him?
She asked and Y/N shook her head as she pulled away from her while rubbing her eyes.
Y/N: N-No. D-Don’t. I don’t want him to feel bad. He is starting a new life in New York. I should be happy for him. But I want to go with him.
She said and sniffled as she pulled the blanket over her head. The video ended.
Jacob: That was the time her best friend moved away and also that was the first time I saw Y/N cry.
He said and sighed looking at Y/N who had her eyes closed, the memories had started to flood in adding a heavy weight on her chest. She felt an arm wrap around her waist as she opened her eyes to see Jimin looking at her with concerned eyes.
Jimin: Are you Okay?
He asked as his face was close to hers. She nodded reassuring him as he pulled her closer to him. The warmth of his embrace making her forget about all the memories and helping in calming her nerves down.
Jacob: Time to see the video of when Y/N got drunk for the first time.
Y/N snapped her eyes open as Jacob smirked and connected his phone the home theatre system.
The Video starts to play…
Y/N: Give me one more glass~
She slurred as she grabbed another glass from the bartender.
Jaehyun: You have had enough.
He said and Y/N pouted hiding the glass away from him. She stood on her stool as the music stopped.
Y/N: WE ARE YOUNG AND WILD! THIS ONES FOR THE FUTURE YEARS OF CRAZINESS!
She said and everyone raised their glasses while cheering in response as she chugged the whole glass down her throat.
Y/N: JAMES! PLAY OKEY DOKEY!
She yelled to the DJ booth as the DJ Nodded before playing the song.
Y/N: IS THAT TRUE?! YES! OKEY DOKEY YO!
She yelled as the crowd cheered wildly at her enthusiasm. Two guys came and picked her up, making her sit on their shoulders as she continued to sing while Jaehyun stood their frozen.
Jaehyun: I told you giving her alcohol was a bad idea.
He said looking at camera.
Jacob: At least she is having fun.
He shrugged when they heard Y/N yell again.
Y/N: PARTY! PARTY! YEAAAAAAAHHHHH!
She said still on the guys shoulders while moving her hands in the air.
Jaehyun: We have to get her down before she starts going crazy…Well crazier.
He says pointing at her who was drinking another shot and Shouting pointing at a pineapple.
Y/N: Does Spongebob live there! HEY SPONGEBOB! LET’S PARTY!
She said dancing while the guys didn’t mind her being on their shoulders.
Y/N: THIS WORLD IS SO ROUND! PARTY! PARTY!
She yelled and that’s where the video stopped.
Taehyung: Spongebob? Really?
He asked looking at Y/N and she shrugged.
Y/N: I was drunk and that was the first time. To be honest, I would love to get drunk like that again.
She smirked while unknowingly leaning closer to Jimin, finding comfort in his embrace.
Jaehyun: You are never, and when I say never I mean NEVER getting drunk like that again. I was the one who had to drive while you started crying because you left spongebob at the party.
He said and all of them broke into laughter.
Y/N: It was fun. Though I had a major headache the next day. But I don’t regret a thing.
She shrugged and Jaehyun scoffed. He started to tell them about the other time when she got drunk and promised to never drink again, but ended up having a whole bottle of Soju the next hour.
Y/N: That’s why I prefer to not drink anymore. I have worked on myself after everything. I despise alcohol now though, I have realised that it’s too harsh for my taste buds.
She made a sour expression and Jimin chuckled as he gently drew circles on her forearm still having his arm wrapped around her. She looked over at his arm drawing circles and then back at him with her head tilted. He quickly pulled his arm away and Jacob and Scarlett laughed at the sight.
Jacob: This will take some hard work.
He whispered and Scarlett nodded while laughing. Just then Jacob’s phone screen flashed with a new notification. He furrowed his brows as he picked his phone up and saw that it was by an unknown number. He pressed the notification as he saw a video. Another message under it said:
“For You...”
Curiosity took over him as he hesitantly pressed the play button on the video, forgetting that it was still connected to the Home theatre system.
Suddenly the sound of a familiar voice hit Y/N. She snapped her head in the direction of the Screen as her eyes widened at the sight. Her body started to stiffen at the sight.
BamBam: What time is it?
He asked looking at Y/N who stood in front of him and her body was shaking.
Y/N: E-Ei-Eight p.m .
She stuttered looking down at the ground. He slammed his palms on his desk as Y/N stepped back in fear.
BamBam: Who the f**k were you with?!
He yelled as she looked at him with confusion.
Y/N: What are you talking about?
She asked as he chuckled sarcastically and looked at her dead in the eye.
BamBam: DO YOU REALLY THINK I AM THAT STUPID! WHAT THE F**K WERE YOU DOING WITH MY STEP MOTHER HUH?!
He asked as Y/N’s eyes widened.
Y/N: I-It’s n-not What it looks like. I-I w-was doing it for you.
She stuttered as her eyes became glossy. BamBam got up from his place as he started to walk towards as she stepped back. Soon her back touched the wall as she looked at him with fearful eyes.
He held her chin harshly as he made her look at him.
BamBam: Don’t lie to me love…There is no point in lying anyways because I know you f**king lie every time!
He said as he held her by her hair making her wince in pain.
Y/N: I didn’t do anything. Aaahhh!
She yelled as he tightened his grip around her hair. He pushed her towards his desk as her head collided with it. A stream of blood trickling down her forehead. He grabbed a whip from a drawer close by as she stumbled back.
Y/N: P-Please d-don’t.
She begged as he moved closer to her holding the whip in hand. She kept on moving back as she fell down near the camera. Her face pale with fear.
BamBam: Who was that guy you walked to class with today Dove?
He said and Y/N was too scared to answer.
BamBam: Looks like you need to be punished for hiding things from me and…
He said as he leaned down close to her as tears stained her cheeks.
BamBam: Because you are mine…And Only Mine...
He said as he splashed the whip on her skin making her scream in pain.
Y/N covered her ears. All she could hear were her screams and cries.
Y/N: STOP IT! IT HURTS!
She said as her eyes were shut tightly as tears started to stream down her cheeks.
Jaehyun: SHUT IT OFF!
He said to Jacob who was trying his best to shut it off but somehow it was not working. He reached out for the remote to shut it off and eventually did but Y/N got up her breathing becoming heavy. All her thoughts were a mess as she started to feel suffocated. She felt her skin stinging as the memories flooded in her mind again. It felt as if the whip was splashing her skin at that very moment as her body started to shake. Jimin tried approaching her as she backed away.
Y/N: L-Leave M-Me a-alone. D-Don’t touch me.
She said as she stumbled back. Hurt was visible in Jimin’s eyes as he saw her small figure backing away from him. She walked closer to the stairs. The minute she reached the staircase she ran as fast as she could.
The loud thud of a door being closed could be heard from the living room.
Jaehyun: WHY THE F**K WOULD YOU PLAY THAT?! HOW DID YOU EVEN GET THAT?!
He asked as his blood boiled. Jacob sighed heavily.
Jacob: An unknown number sent it to me. I forgot that my phone was still connected to the home theatre system! GODDAMIT J! I DIDN’T DO IT ON PURPOSE!
He said as he raised his hands in the air offended on how Jaehyun just put the blame on him.
Jaehyun: Try tracking the number. That f**king b*st*rd BamBam! I swear to god I will kill him!
He said running his fingers through his hair. Jimin stood their silently taking in all that he saw. Her screams, her begging and her tears were enough for him to put him on edge. His blood was boiling with anger but his heart was hurting on how she pushed him away.
Without saying a word, he walked up the stairs towards his room.
He pushed the door of his room open. He walked in and looked at the clock to see the time. It was past lunch time but his hunger was no longer their. He felt anger and pain at the same time.
He lay down on the bed as he run his fingers through his hair. A tired sigh escaped his lips as his mind was running wild. He had always heard about all that she had to go through but now that he had seen it, the pain had increased to an unbearable level. The tears in her eyes, the feared look her face held was enough for him to feel her pain. He punched the mattress causing a loud thud as his anger took over him.
A part of him wanted to run to her room no matter how much she doesn’t want to see him but a bigger part of him knew better than to make her more uncomfortable than she already is.
A sigh escaped his lips as he put his hand behind his Head trying to distract himself but he knew too well that he couldn’t.
{Meanwhile}
Y/N slammed the door shut as she fell to her knees. Tears staining her cheeks.
Y/N: Why?
She whispered as she let her body fall to the floor. Feeling the cold floor against her weak body she brought her knees close to her chest as her body curled up on the floor.
This reminded her of what it felt like every time she was beaten up. She was left on the floor broken and for no one to hold. She used to curl herself up just to get over the pain.
She took a deep breath and decided to be strong. She won’t cry over her past anymore. No matter how painful it was, that was her past. She can’t waste her present and future over something that she can’t change.
Slowly getting up from the floor she wiped her tears. Suddenly she heard the sound of thunder and soft tapping sound of rain on the window.
She walked closer to the window as she noticed the cloudy sky and cold wind. She put her hand out the window feeling the cold water. She closed her eyes as the only thing that came to her mind was Jimin and the hurt in his eyes making her open her eyes in a second.
Y/N: It wasn’t even his fault! Why did I snap at him?!
She said as she tugged at her hair. Guilt filled her heart thinking about the hurt visible in his eyes. She had never seen him hurt and she felt miserable for becoming the reason of his pain.
She sighed and walked over to her door hesitantly. She opened it and walked out of her room. She looked from over the staircase to see Jimin no where in sight in the living room.
She sighed as she turned around but she suddenly heard a loud thud making her attention divert to the door to Jimin’s room. She walked closer to it as she put her hand on the door knob. She Closed her eyes deciding on whether she should go in or not.
She slowly walked in as she saw him lying down on his bed.
He noticed her presence and glanced at her but closed his eyes again.
Jimin: Need something?
He asked coldly as her eyes became slightly glossy at the harshness of his tone.
Y/N: I-I’m s-sorry.
She said as she bit the inside of her cheek refraining the tears from spilling out of her eyes. Jimin snapped his eyes open as he looked at her with a confused expression.
Y/N: I-I didn’t mean t-to snap at you...I-I just...I’m s-sorry. I know t-that it wasn’t your fault but I...
She couldn’t finish her sentence as tears started to stream down her cheeks again and Jimin’s eyes softened and heart melted.
Jimin: Don’t cry Y/N, it wasn’t your fault.
Y/N: B-But it is.
She cried like a child and Jimin titled his head at her childish self. It was like a little girl was trapped inside a 21 year old's body. He chuckled at the thought as all he could think about was her in his embrace.
Jimin: Come here.
He said opening his arms and Y/N didn’t think twice before running into his arms, hugging him ever so tightly.
Y/N: I-I’m sorry. Please don’t be mad Jimin-ah. Hu hu hu.
She cried and Jimin chuckled as he pulled away from her before wiping the tears from her rosy cheeks.
Jimin: Don’t say sorry. It wasn’t your fault.
Y/N: Are you not mad at me anymore?
She asked as her lower lip trembled. She’s such a crybaby, he thought.
Jimin: I was never mad at you. I just felt bad that I couldn’t do anything for you. It was never your fault Autumn.
He said caressing her cheeks with both his hands as he cupped her face. She hugged him again as he hugged her back wrapping his arms around her protectively while he chuckled.
Jimin: Its raining...?
He said just noticing the weather and Y/N nodded.
Jimin: You should take a short nap. You need all the rest you can get.
He reminds her and Y/N Pouted while sticking her bottom lip out.
Y/N: I don’t wanna sleep.
Jimin: Well I want to sleep.
He said as he pretended to yawn trying to get her to rest making Y/N giggle.
Y/N: You sleep then. I will go to my room and call that pig!
She said and Jimin’s eyes widened. Jealousy filled his heart at the thought. She was about to walk off but he held her wrist stopping her.
Jimin: W-Wait! You need to give me company. We can sleep together while talking...!
He suggested with hopeful eyes as Y/N looked at him before giving him a smile and nodding.
She walked over to the other side of the bed as she lay down and pulled the duvet over her body. Jimin lay down beside her as he faced her looking at her figure.
Y/N: The days are getting colder.
She said as she hugged herself feeling cold. Jimin smirked as he suddenly put an arm around her waist pulling her closer to him as her eyes widened at his gesture. Her body tingled at the sensation.
Jimin: Staying Close will keep you warm.
He said and she nodded shyly. She put her arms around his waist moving slightly closer to him.
Her mind trailed off to BamBam again as their happiest moments flashed in front of her eyes out of the blue. Her smile faded as it took everything inside her not to cry again. Her painful memories came back making her throat feel clogged. Her heart was now shaking off both heartbreak and fear. Jimin noticed her sudden change in behaviour and looked at her with concern.
Jimin: What’s Wrong?
He asked and Y/N shook her head trying to remove the thoughts from her mind.
Y/N: I-I am not sleepy that’s all.
She lied and Jimin didn’t believe her but decided not to push it. He saw her hooded eyes clearly seeing her mentally tired.
Jimin: What will help you to sleep then?
He asked changing the subject as Y/N shrugged her shoulder.
Y/N: I don’t know actually. Why don’t you sing something...?
She said teasingly and Jimin smirked.
Jimin: If you want.
He said and Y/N looked at him in surprise.
Y/N: Are you serious?
Jimin: You only wanted me to sing didn’t you?
Y/N: Yeah but I never thought that you would actually agree to it.
She said and Jimin chuckled.
Jimin: But you have to Move closer if you want me to sing.
He said and Y/N moved closer to him as she looked innocently into his eyes.
Jimin smiled as he closed his eyes before clearing his throat.

He stopped Singing as he heard slow breathing. He looked over at Y/N to see her sleeping peacefully. He saw her still holding onto him tightly as her lips were slightly parted. He leaned closer to her face as he took in all of her features in slowly.
Jacob and Scarlett stood at the door peeking inside sneakily.
Scarlett: Aww that was cute. And I never knew Jimin was such a big softie.
Jacob: So now do you believe me?
He whispered to her as she turned her head to face him. She studied his face and sighed.
Scarlett: Fine, I believe you.
She said and Jacob hugged her tightly.
Jacob: Let’s get them together. She has always wanted the best for us, I think we owe her that much.
He said and she nodded while wrapping her arms around his neck. She rested her forehead against his and they both closed their eyes.
Scarlett: But no one can be as perfect as we are. And no one can be as lucky as me to have you.
She said and he smiled before connecting their lips. Slowly kissing her he tried to show her how much he loved her. She smiled in between the kiss making his heart flutter.
Scarlett: I love you.
Jacob: And I love you.
They said in between the kiss as he pushed her against the wall kissing her again.
Jungkook: MY INNOCENT EYES!
He said as he covered his eyes dramatically. Taehyung chuckled at the younger’s behaviour. Jacob and Scarlett parted from each other and Jacob groaned in annoyance.
Taehyung: That room right there is free, so please do this there not here. I feel single enough already.
They both chuckled and Scarlett’s cheeks tinted crimson.
Scarlett: SHUT UP!
She said as she walked past them as her cheeks heated while Jacob followed behind with a proud smirk on his face.
Meanwhile, Jimin caressed her soft hair, tucking the strands that were falling on her face behind her ear.
His gaze darkened as he remembered the video and the tears in her eyes. He grabbed his phone from the nightstand before typing in a few digits. He put the phone near his ear as his voice became low.

He ended the call as he saw Y/N move slightly still in her sleep. He put his arm under head gently caressing her head and his fingers trailed down to her back as he slowly drew circles on it. He observed her facial features as each glance made his heart beat faster and faster.
His gaze fell on her lips as he looked at them intensely not knowing why he was feeling so weird all of a sudden. Remembering the kiss at the party he looked back at her sleeping figure and her parted lips.
His body moved closer to hers as he caressed her cheek gently. He slowly placed his lips on hers as he kissed her ever so softly making sure he doesn't wake her up. He couldn’t hold himself back and he knew that. He moved back as he looked at her still sleeping figure. He traced her lips with his thumb as a small smile made its way to his face.
Jimin: How did you turn this cold, heartless Playboy into someone who can actually care for someone.
He said still looking at her as his finger caressed her soft skin.
Jimin: I never thought I could care for someone, until I met you. You made me realise how it feels like to be happy. You have become a big part of me now.
He said still looking at her as he couldn’t help but to noticed her nose turning red because of the cold.
Jimin: It makes me want to protect you, be with you all the time and just look at you all day. You might think that you are imperfect because of your scars but to me you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.
He placed another kiss on her temple feeling her soft skin against his lips.
Jimin: I know I didn’t realise it before and now that I have realised it, I keep on denying it but I know I can’t deny it anymore because if I deny it further...I am afraid I will lose you. I can’t deny that...
He paused and then tilted his head as he took in every one of her features.
Jimin: I can’t deny that I have fallen for you...
