Third POV

Y/N rushed to the car and quickly sat in the car. 

Covering her face she felt her stomach churn. She switched her phone on and saw News Updates making her want to burst out.

“Princess Y/N Caught at The BTS Fan Sign”

“The Princess Is In A Royal Slip with that outfit”

“Is she dating one of the members?”

"F**K YOU!" She yelled as she threw the Phone in the front but Felix caught it.

"Relax Y/N! Are you alright? " He asked as he sat in the car putting her phone aside. Jackson, Nayeon and Somi quickly sat in as they looked at Y/N in worry.

She hit her head against the front seat as she whined.

"My Mother’s going to kill me, what should I do?!" She said as she punched the front seat making Nayeon who was sitting on it, jump.

"Yah Calm down! I am sure her reaction is not that bad."

Nayeon spoke when suddenly Y/N’s phone rang making her head shoot up. 

"It’s your mom." Felix said and Y/N gulped before grabbing the phone with her now shaky hands. She put it on speaker as she picked it up.

"H-Hello"

"CHOI Y/N WHAT IS THIS THAT I AM SEEING! YOU WERE AT A FAN MEETING!"

"Mom I can explain-"

"AND WORSE THAN THAT THE PAPARAZZI CAUGHT YOU WEARING A CROP TOP IN PUBLIC! HAVE YOU LOST ALL YOUR SENSES BY SHOWING YOUR SKIN TO THE WHOLE NATION!"

"Hear me out please-"

"GET HOME RIGHT THIS INSTANT!"

"But Mom-"

"I SAID RIGHT NOW! GET HERE OR YOU WILL SEE THE WORST OF ME!" She said and hung up.

"I was wrong." Nayeon said with an awkward laugh as Y/N tugged at her hair.

"What will I do...?" She asked and looked over at Somi with her glossy eyes.

"We will find a way. I am so sorry you got into this mess." Somi said pulling her into a hug as Y/N wrapped her arms around her. Felix started to drive the car as the whole ride was silent.

Somi’s Thoughts trailed off as she thought of what Jungkook might be thinking. She knows that Jungkook must’ve found out that she is friends with the princess after the whole scene caused at the Fan sign and she knows he will ask for answers.

She sighed as she looked out the window.

Meanwhile panic filled Y/N’s mind as she thought what was going to happen when she sees her mother. She clenched her fist tightly as she looked down at her cropped top.

"It’s all your fault." She said looking at the crop top while rolling her eyes.

The rest of the drive was silent as the tension in the environment was heavy.

Upon Entering the royal palace, Y/N looked around seeing the guards face become pale and she knew her mother was in a terrible mood. Somi and Felix Came along with her standing behind her.

"It will be okay. Let’s go to the throne room. They must be waiting for us." Somi said as she draped her arm around Y/N’s Shoulder making her walk towards the throne room.

Upon reaching the throne room the guards open the door wide revealing Y/N’s Mother sitting in her throne as she looked at Y/N with cold eyes making a cold chill run down Y/N’s spine. She shivered slightly as her legs became weak.

Somi and Felix followed closely behind.

 

"Well Well Well look who we have here. The girl who ran off to a fan sign by lying to her family." She said sarcastically.

"Calm down Honey. I am sure it wasn’t her intention to-" The King started but was cut off by his wife.

"You need to stop justifying for her all the time because this time she is at fault and no matter what you say nothing will change it!" She said and looked back at Y/N with angry eyes.

"How could you be so irresponsible!" She yelled as her voice echoed throughout the room. 

"Give her a break Juda." Queen Erica said looking up at Y/N’s mother, Queen Juda. Queen Erica got up from her throne walking up to her granddaughter before standing beside her. Y/N’s Father, King Suho observed the situation silently.

"She is just 23 for heavens sake, yet she is burdened with such responsibilities. She barely gets to live her life as a youngster. Both you and Suho were never burdened with such responsibilities at this age, you were given much more freedom than Y/N." She said and Queen Juda looked away. "She deserves to live a little doesn’t she?"

"I just want her to be careful." Queen Juda spoke and Queen Erica Nodded. She looked over at Y/N with soft eyes.

"I am not saying that you were wrong for going out but you should have been more careful. Since you have done something wrong you will get punished." Queen Erica said and Y/N’s eyes widened as she snapped her head in her grandmother’s direction." The punishment is that there will be a press conference held tomorrow just to justify your actions today and this time none of us will justify you. You have to justify yourself." She said and Y/N sighed before nodding.

"And for my punishment you will be going to meet up with Baekhyun again tomorrow and you will be thinking about having a future with him." Queen Juda spoke with a straight face making Y/N clench her fist.

"But Mom-"

"No more arguments! You need to give me the answer by next month. You may leave now since we have some important matters to discuss." She said and Y/N sighed before bowing and Somi and Felix did the same. Before she turned Her grandmother whispered into her ear.

"Give me the details about the Fan sign later. I want to know how it was meeting your knight in shining armour." Queen Erica said and Y/N blushed as she turned around. Somi and Felix looked at Queen Erica and smiled while she winked at them making them chuckle.

Exiting the throne room, Y/N exhaled sharply.

"Well That didn’t go as badly as I expected." Somi spoke while letting a deep sigh escape her lips.

"It’s a good sign." Felix said trying to cheer her up but Y/N tugged at her hair in annoyance once again. 

"I am sick of this marriage crap! I can independently take over the throne and she knows that!" Y/N said as she rolled her eyes and her friends nodded. "She wants me to f**king get married for the sake of the goddamn throne!" She said and covered her mouth immediately as she realised she cussed in the hallway" Yeah let’s go to my room. I wish Jackson and Nayeon didn’t have to leave early. "

"Well at least we are here." Somi added with a knowing smile.

"What will I say at the press conference?" She said as they walked to her room.

"Just relax, you just need to be confident and know what you are talking about. Plus, you are known at being good with your words." Felix said the last sentence teasingly and Y/N rolled her eyes playfully before closing the door to her room.

She sat on the bed as Felix and Somi sat down comfortably on the chairs placed by the window.

"Since there is a press conference tomorrow there will definitely be a formal Dinner as I know it always takes place, all of you are my special guests for the dinner. Bring a date or two if you want." Y/N winked at them and they rolled there eyes. "Well I guess today wasn’t a total waste. At least I got to meet Taehyung." She said as her cheeks tinted crimson. Somi and Felix exchanged looks before looking back at Y/N.

"Yeah I was listening…How he held your hand and said “ You have beautiful eyes.”

Somi said trying to mimic his voice while interlocking her fingers with Y/N's just like Taehyung did. Both Felix and Somi burst into laughter as Y/N’s face turned bright red.

"Y-Yah! H-He doesn’t sound l-like that." She stuttered and both of them made sounds while teasing her. Just then Somi’s phone rang. She looked at the caller ID and her eyes widened. 

…Jungkook.

She looked over at Felix and Y/N to see them engrossed in their conversation.

"E-Excuse me guys, I need to get this." Somi said as she made her way to the balcony.

{Meanwhile}

After Y/N left, they decided to keep the event going. Now it had finally ended and all the members sat together at their dorm still a bit shocked by the turn of events at the fan sign. 

"We met the princess." Yoongi said breaking the silence in the room.

"That’s why she was good with her words." Namjoon said in realisation.

"I still can’t believe it." Hoseok added.

"AND SHE CALLED ME THE MOST HANDSOME IN THE GROUP! TAKE THAT!" Jin exclaimed proudly and all of them looked at him in disbelief.

"That’s besides the point Hyung!" Jungkook said and Jin rolled his eyes at him.

"Yeah Yeah! Whatever! I know you all are jealous." Jin said as he waved his hand at them and they all shook their heads.

"I met the princess at least once in my lifetime. Now I can stay at peace" Jimin said jokingly and all of them laughed except Taehyung. He was in his own fantasy world. He admired the bracelet in his hand as he touched the charms that were dangling from the thin chain. A smile made its way to his face as he remembered how flustered she got when he held her hand. Her soft and delicate hands which fit perfectly in his. How her pupils dilated when she looked at her bracelet. He found her stuttering adorable and her soft voice was driving him insane.

Jungkook nudged Jimin Making him look at him confused. He pointed at Taehyung and all the members looked over at Taehyung who was smiling like an idiot recalling the previous events.

"Taehyung." Jimin said to Taehyung but he didn’t respond, he continued smiling at the bracelet in his palm.

"HYUNG!" Jungkook said waving his hand in front of Taehyung’s face but he didn’t seem to pay any attention. He was lost and it was as clear as glass.

Suddenly Hoseok got an idea and he smirked.

"HEY LOOK! ITS THE PRINCESS!" He said loudly and Taehyung’s eyes widened as he immediately got up from his place. 

"W-What? W-Where?!" He said as he looked around in complete panic. All the members tried to hold in their laughter but couldn’t. They all started to laugh loudly confusing Taehyung.

"She is in that little head of yours Kid!" Yoongi said while laughing once again and Taehyung glared at all of them.

"Ha ha Really funny!" Taehyung said as he sat back down running his fingers through his hair in annoyance.

"Chill dude! We are just messing with you."

Jimin said as he put his hand on Taehyung’s shoulder. Taehyung looked at the bracelet in his hand once again and this time Jimin seemed to notice it as well.

"What’s that?" Jimin asked looking at The bracelet and Taehyung immediately formed his hand into a fist, hiding the bracelet.

"What is what? " He asked pretending to be clueless but Jimin just scoffed.

"First of all, I am your best friend so don’t lie to me. Second of all, I have eyes and I saw a bracelet and I am a hundred percent sure that it’s not yours." Jimin said And Taehyung looked away not making eye contact with him.

"Whose bracelet is it?" Jungkook asked and all the guys focused on Taehyung.

"W-Well I....Its just that....Uhm..." Taehyung said and Namjoon suddenly spoke.

"It belongs to the Princess am I correct." He said and Taehyung looked back down at the bracelet.

"Yeah." Taehyung muttered softly but audible enough for them to hear.

"When did I teach you to steal huh?" Jin said and Smacked his head from the back.

 "Yah! I didn’t steal! It fell when she was sitting In front of me and before I could get a chance to give it to her, she bolted out of the place." Taehyung shrugged still admiring the bracelet as a smile made its way to his face.

"May I ask why you are smiling?" Yoongi asked and Taehyung stopped smiling as he coughed awkwardly.

"He likes the princess." Jungkook said in a sing song manner as all of them hooted in response.

"Anyways, You need to get this back to her." Jimin said to Taehyung and he nodded looking at the bracelet.

"But How? We just can’t barge into the royal palace like it’s a free for all garden!" Jin exclaimed and all of them sighed thinking on finding a solution, when suddenly it struck Jungkook.

"SOMI!" He said as he stood up from his place. "Somi is the princess’s friend! She told me herself when I met her!" He said with bright eyes as all of them looked at him surprised. 

"Really?" Taehyung asked taken a back by Jungkook’s confession and he nodded.

"Maybe I can talk to her to help us out."

"You sure about this?" Jimin  asked Jungkook and he gave him a reassuring look.

"I am more than sure. She will understand, she has to." He said and took his phone out of his pocket before finally giving her a call. He put the call on speaker.

Somi Walked to the balcony as she exhaled sharply before picking the call up.

{On The Phone}

"Hello..." She said and a sigh of relief escaped Jungkooks lips.

"Hey Somi...Are you free to talk right now?" He asked and Somi furrowed her brows, confused why he didn’t start bombarding her with questions the minute she picked up.

"Y-Yeah sure." She said and he looked at the members who told him to speak further.

"Where are you right now?"

"I am with Felix and Y/N." She spoke before her mind process what she is saying. She face palmed at her mistake and hopes that he doesn’t question it.

All the members looked at Jungkook Wide eyed as he smirked proudly because he was right.

"I don’t mean to interrupt but can you come to the dorms right now. It’s a little urgent."

"Right now? I-I don’t know If that’s a good idea Kook."

"Please Somi." He pleaded and she sighed. Before she could say anything Y/N creaked the balcony door open before speaking.

"Hey Who are you talking to?" Y/N asked loud of enough for the members to listen and all of the started to nudge Taehyung as he rolled his eyes but deep down his heart fluttered.

"M-My cousin. I will be back inside in a second." She said and Y/N smiled.

"No worries...Take your Time okay." She said as she closed the door and Somi Sighed.

"Fine. I will be there in 20 min. Just send me your location. This better be important. I hate lying to my best friend."

"Well you have lied to me too." Jungkook pointed and Somi sighed in defeat.

"See you there." She said as she put the phone down and looked through the glass door to see Felix and Y/N laughing. She sighs as she walks in with a sad smile.

"I am sorry Y/N but I need to go. I have some things to take care of. My cousin is sick so I need to take care of him." Somi lied and felt guilt fill her mind.

"Oh it’s okay. I hope he gets better soon. I will see you tomorrow okay. Don’t forget to bring a date...Or if you are lucky bring Nayeon one too." She giggled and Somi smiled before nodding and grabbing her belongings.

"I am gonna go too. I need to get clothes for tomorrow." Felix added getting up and Y/N nodded and waved at them.

"Don’t stress. See you tomorrow." Somi spoke before she finally stepped out of her room and walked towards her car. As she reached her car she saw that Jungkook has sent the address. She sighed as she set up the GPS with the location.

{Some time later}

The door bell rang and Jungkook was up on his feet.

"I’ll get it!" He said as he ran to the door.

Upon opening the door, he saw Somi standing there with her arms crossed over her chest as she tapped her foot impatiently.

"SOMI!" He exclaimed as he pulled her into a tight hug and she hugged him back while patting his back.He pulled away and looked at her with bright eyes.

"Come On In." He said as he opened the door for her to step in. The minute she walked in her eyes landed on the rest of the six boys sitting in the living area as she put a strand of hair behind of her ear awkwardly.

"Come On, sit down will you." Jungkook smiled, gesturing for her to sit and she obliged as she sat down with her legs crossed.

"Okay...So Why was I Called here? What was so Urgent?" She asked as she looked at Jungkook before looking at all of them.

"Are you friends with the princess?" He asked and Somi sighed as she fidgeted with her fingers.

"Yes, why do you ask?" She asked raising a brow and Jungkook smiles at her.

Jungkook: Why didn’t you tell me?!

"Because it’s not something I am supposed to be yelling on the streets." Somi hissed, a bit frustrated as she massages her temples. "Listen, Kook if this why you guys called me here, I am seriously going to leave. I have had a long day with all the running and all the lying and I seriously need a break." She said as she got up from her place. She started to walk to the door but she stopped when she heard a voice.

"WAIT!" Taehyung said loudly as she halted in her steps. She turned to face him with a questionable look. He showed her the bracelet as Somi’s eyes widened.

"Th-Thats Y/N’s!" She said and he nodded looking away. 

"I wanted to give it back to her. If you could just help us meet her and give to her we would really appreciate it." Taehyung explained with pleading eyes and Somi sighed.

"You can just give it to me and I can give it to her." She said and Taehyung’s eyes widened.

"N-No. A-Actually I wanted to give it to her myself." He confessed as all of the members looked at him with a smirk. 

"So you guys want me to help you meet her am I correct?" They all nodded and Somi started to think on what she should do.

"If I help you with this, Y/N will know that you are my cousin. So if she gets mad at me, I will blame you." She said and Jungkook nodded.

"Alright. Fair enough. You can tell her that I am your cousin."

"Okay then. I have an idea." She said as she sat back down. "So there is an event tomorrow at the Royal Palace. It’s actually a press conference Y/N has to do because of the mess that was created today." She said and Taehyung listened to her intently.

\"I can take you as my acquaintances there. There is the press conference and the formal dinner. Just try staying low key, I don’t want Y/N to end with another scandal. The present rumours are ridiculous enough." Somi waved and Jungkook smiled broadly.

Jungkook: Thank you Somi! I owe you big time.

Just then her phone started to ring. She looked at the Called ID with wide eyes. She slid her finger across the screen.

"Hey Y/N." She said on the Phone as all the boys looked at her with wide eyes.

"Put the phone on speaker." Jungkook whispered and Somi rolled her eyes but did just that.

"Hey MiMi." Y/N spoke from the other line as a exasperated sigh escaped her lips. "By any chance have you seen my bracelet. The one that my father got for me. You know, the one with the charms." She said and Somi looked over at Taehyung who shook his head at her.

"N-No I haven’t. Did you look everywhere?"

"Yes. I can’t find it anywhere. I searched the whole room. I called everyone up but no one has any idea. I wore it at the fan sign and I am sure of it. I might have left it in Felix’s car I suppose."

"Maybe it is there."

"I hope it is. I get really nervous without it." Y/N whispered and Taehyung’s eyes softened.

"You don’t need a bracelet Sweetie. We all will be there for your moral support too." She said encouragingly forgetting about the people around her and Y/N sighed in response.

"I guess you are right. Oh I never asked, how is your cousin now. Is he better?" She asked and Somi tensed up as Jungkook looked at her with an eyebrow raised.

"Y-Yeah he is better. Just needs some more rest."

"Okay. Well I hope he gets better soon. If you need anything at all just call me." She said and paused for a second before speaking once more. "Oh I almost forgot. After the dinner all of us are going out. Maybe to that Karaoke place that we used to go to back in college days. So bring an extra change of clothes. And also, bring a date tomorrow."

"Yeah, Yeah. Oh and Y/N, you don’t mind if I bring a few people with me tomorrow right?" Somi asked cautiously.

"No, not at all. If they are cute guys then I think Nayeon will be more than happy. Plus GamGam has told me that I can invite anyone I want so, fire away."

"Well there are cute guys." Somi laughed ironically and Y/N chuckled.

"Well then it is a win-win situation for all of us then."

Both of them laughed as the boys sat there completely disconnected from the conversation.

"Don’t you have a date. I am sure many people will be dying to be your date." She said and A giggle escaped Y/N’s lips.

"Nah. I am fine being...single. It shows how self reliant I am that I don’t need anyone. Besides Baekhyun will be there tomorrow and I think we will be hanging out so he is kinda like my date. But I don’t see him in that way because I only see two people in that way."

"Who?"

"One is myself and the other one...well the other one is a secret which I don’t want to talk about right now but I think you already now."

Somi looked over at Taehyung with a smirk before looking back at the screen.

"Yeah I do." She said and giggled while Taehyung’s heart clenched. 

"I will talk to you later okay. Take care of yourself. I love you. Bye." Y/N said as she ended the call and Somi looked at the phone with a sigh.

"I hate lying to her. Anyways I will see you all tomorrow. I will stop by the dorm and I can drive you all there with me. You can where masks or whatever if you want. Just dress a bit formally." She informed as she got up and headed for the door. "See you tomorrow guys. I’ll call you later Kook."

She said as she waved her hand at them before walking out of the dorms.

"You have a pretty cousin." Jimin said with a smirk.

"Ew, No. Don't even think about it." Jungkook said as he looked at Jimin With a sour expression. Taehyung got up from his place as he headed for bed.

"I am gonna sleep. Goodnight." Taehyung said and rushed to his room even before they could respond.

Upon reaching the bedroom he saw Yeontan fast asleep.

 He lay down on the bed as he admired the bracelet in his hands, examining each and every charm. The little heart had her name engraved on it.

‘Choi Y/N’

A smile made its way to his lips as he read it and his heart raced at the thought of seeing her again, but this time without any misunderstandings or masks. Only the truth. 

He imagined how she would look tomorrow. His imagination ran wild at how good she would look in whatever she wears. Why was he imagining her anyways? 

He shook his head trying to get the images out of his head but couldn’t. He kept the bracelet on the nightstand as he switched the lights off.

"Tomorrow will be a long day."

He closed his eyes as he pulled the blanket over his body. His tensed muscles relaxed because of how tired he was. 

He soon drifted off to sleep dreaming of those mesmerizing pair of eyes that he couldn’t get enough of.
