Third POV
Jimin opened the door of the car as Y/N slowly came out as she adjusted her dress. Her legs were wobbly and Jimin glanced at her feet seeing a pair of heels as he sighed.
Jimin: You are wearing heels again? Even though you don’t like to walk in them...!
Y/N: I am fine Jimin-ah! I am getting used to heels now.
She said and Jimin rolled his eyes but decided not to push it further. She nearly tripped but Jimin caught her. She smiled awkwardly and Jimin shook his head while laughing.
Jimin: And you say you are getting used to it...
Y/N: It’s a work in progress...
Jimin: Sure Sure.
He rolled his eyes as he wrapped his arm around her waist and she looked at him with wide eyes.
Jimin: For support...
He answered her unspoken question and she nodded with a small smile creeping up on her face. He noticed her smile and smirked as his grip around her tightened. He started to walk to the entrance as he heard loud music already coming out of the venue and a man stood in front of the door.
The man nodded as he saw Y/N and Y/N smiled at him making him smile back. He opened the big door as the loud music suddenly hit their ears and Y/N looked at Jimin with excitement.
Y/N: You ready birthday boy?
She asked and Jimin chuckled with a nod.
Jimin: Lets go in...
He said and Y/N smiled as they both nodded.
As they entered, all eyes were on them as Y/N didn’t seem to pay attention as her eyes searched for her friends.
Namjoon: Happy Birthday Jimin-ah!
He said as he pulled Jimin into a hug and Jimin smiled with a nod.
Yoongi: Happy Birthday...
He said as his eyes fell on Y/N and his smile grew.
Y/N: Oppa...
She said and hugged him briefly as he smiled at her.
Yoongi: How have you been? And...you look gorgeous, not gonna lie.
Y/N: Thanks oppa...You look amazing as always.
Yoongi: Aish, always with the flattery!
They both laughed and Jimin looked over at the two. His eyes met with Yoongi’s and Yoongi grinned.
Yoongi: So What have you two kids been up to? Have you gone any further from the last time we met?
Jimin’s eyes widened as Confusion filled Y/N’s mind. She looked over at Jimin with a confused look and Jimin laughed awkwardly.
Y/N: What do you mean by gone any further?
But before Yoongi could reply Hoseok and Jin approached them as they rushed over to Jimin.
Jin: Yah! Jimin-ah! Where were you!
Hoseok: We had been waiting! Happy birthday by the way haha.
They laughed as Jimin heaved a sigh of relief seeing them and they pulled him into a hug. He hugged back with a smile.
Jin: Oh hey Y/N...
Hoseok: It’s nice seeing you here...
Y/N: Nice seeing you too.
She smiled and gave them a hug and they hugged back. Scarlett approached them with Jacob as she smiled.
Scarlett: OmO Y/N-ah! You look so good! I knew this would look good on you! I just knew it!
Y/N: Yeah thanks Scar.
Y/N smiled Shyly as Jacob wrapped his arm around Scarlett’s waist.
Jacob: Happy Birthday once again man. Oh and Y/N, Jaehyun was looking for you. He needed to tell you something important.
He said And Y/N furrowed her brows.
Y/N: Okay, I will go to him. Excuse me.
She excused herself as she straightened her posture, walking away and Jimin’s eyes didn’t leave her figure. He clenched his jaw seeing many eyes on her as he exhaled sharply and his nostrils flared.
Y/N spotted Jaehyun sitting down near the bar with Daymon as she sat in between the two.
Y/N: Hey.
She said and both of them smiled.
Daymon: Hi Angel...You look gorgeous.
Jaehyun: I agree...
Y/N: Thanks, anyways What did you need to tell me J?
Jaehyun: Oh right, I almost forgot. Your sister called me because she couldn’t reach you.
Y/N: Oh. What did she say?
Jaehyun: She Called to say she wanted to meet you. Spend the day with you since the both of you hadn’t spent time in long.
He said and Glanced at Daymon Who gave him a thumbs up.
Y/N: I miss her too. Yeah maybe I can meet her soon.
Daymon: Why not tomorrow?!
He said and Y/N furrowed her brows at his tone but decided to let it slide.
Y/N: Yeah tomorrow is fine too. Okay I will meet her tomorrow then.
Jaehyun: Okay Great then. Tomorrow it is...Ah, me and Daymon had to discuss something, you should have a drink. We’ll be back.
He got up and dragged Daymon with him. As they walked away Jaehyun whispered to Daymon.
Jaehyun: Way to keep it subtle!
Daymon: I panicked okay!
Jaehyun: At least she didn’t suspect it. Thankfully she won’t be home tomorrow.
Y/N sighed as she saw the two walk away. She looked around as she saw many people looking at her. A group of guys looked at her up and down with a smirk making her feel uneasy. Many people were drunk around her and she sighed. She looked away feeling uncomfortable and put her hands on top of the bar top as she looked down. Just then she felt a hand on top of her shoulder and she flinched.
Jimin: Hey, Hey! It’s just me! What’s wrong?
Y/N: O-Oh hey. Nothing. I am just a bit nervous.
She fidgeted with her fingers and Jimin sighed as he sat down on the bar stool beside hers.
Jimin: And Why do you feel nervous?
Y/N: I feel like people are staring at me.
She whispered looking away while Jimin’s jaw clenched and eyes darkened as his protective self took over.
He pulled her bar stool closer to his as he wrapped his arm around her waist. Y/N’s cheeks tinted crimson as she looked at Jimin with wide eyes while he looked unaffected.
Y/N: What are you-
Jimin: What would you like to drink?
He asked cutting her off, not even looking at her, as he glared at the Guys looking at her. The guys immediately looked away as he turned his gaze back at Y/N who was looking around.
Y/N: James!
She said as the same bartender from Daymon’s farmhouse moved towards the two with a smile.
James: Y/N...Jimin....
He said with a smile and Y/N smiled back. Y/N looked at Jimin who looked at her while cocking his head to the side with a smirk.
Jimin: Have a Drink with me....
Y/N: Do you mean alcoholic drink or non-alcoholic drink...?
She asked cautiously and Jimin chuckled slightly.
Jimin: I won’t drink any alcohol if you don’t drink with me...
Y/N: Don’t do this Jimin-ah! You know I can’t-
Jimin: You can’t say no to me...it’s my birthday after all...
He smirked victoriously and Y/N sighed while rolling her eyes. She looked at James who looked at her expectantly.
Y/N: Two Apple Martinis please...
She said and James looked at her surprised but nodded. Jimin’s smirk widened as Y/N looked at him while shaking her head.
Y/N: Happy now?
Jimin: Definitely...
Y/N: But I will only have one...not more than that...
Jimin nodded as James passed the cocktails to them. Y/N nodded gratefully as she held the stem of the glass and looked at Jimin with an eyebrow raised.
Y/N: To your 23rd Birthday.
She said and he smirked as they clinked their glasses together before taking a sip.
Y/N: This is refreshing...It’s been long since I have had an apple martini. Your hands can still do wonders James.
James: I am glad you liked it Y/N...
Jimin sipped on the Cocktail slowly savouring each sip as his eyes were fixed on Y/N. Y/N looked at Jimin as she tilted her head to the side.
Y/N: What?
Jimin: Nothing...just enjoying the view.
Y/N: Aish Flirt.
She said and rolled her eyes but the smile on her lips wasn’t hidden. Suddenly Scarlett and Jacob appeared there as Scarlett ordered some wine. James filled the glass and passed it to Scarlett.
Jacob: Hey.
Jacob said noticing Jimin and Y/N’s presence and Y/N smiled at him.
Jacob and Scarlett stood at the bar as Scarlett sipped on her glass of wine. Jimin and Y/N sat there as Y/N looked at both of them with adoration.
Scarlett: How does it feel like to be 23 Park?
She asked as she tilted her head back taking a sip of her wine and Jimin smiled with nod.
Jimin: I won’t tell you, it will ruin the fun for you when you turn 23.
Scarlett: You little B**ch.
She scoffed and Jimin chuckled while Y/N smiled at Jimin’s smiling figure.
Jacob: Babe~
He whispered into Scarlett’s ear and she turned to look at him as he stood right behind her as he trapped her between the bar and his arms.
Scarlett: Yes love...
Jacob: You look really beautiful~ That dress is my new favourite.
He whispered into her ear and she smiled as he placed a small kiss on her jaw.
Jacob: I had a surprise for you...
He said and Scarlett raised her brow as Jacob rolled his sleeve up revealing a tattoo Scarlett covered her mouth with her hands as her eyes were as wide as plates.
Scarlett: No way... Did you really...
Jacob: Happy Month-a-versary Babe~ See...it’s your name...
He said as he took her hand tracing the letters which were on his arm with her finger tips and her eyes became tearful.
Scarlett: Did it hurt...?
She whispered gently tracing the ink. He smiled as he wrapped his arms around her waist and tilting her chin upwards to make her look at him.
Jacob: For you...Every pain is worth it.
He said and Scarlett crashed her lips against his. He responded as he placed his hand on the back of her neck deepening the kiss.
Scarlett: I love you so much.
She spoke in between the kiss and he smiled as he broke the kiss before resting his forehead against hers.
Jacob: And I love you more than anyone.
Y/N smiled at the couple as she felt extremely happy.
Y/N: I must say Scarlett...You are really lucky. Not everyone finds someone who loves them so much. I can see that you both love each other and I wish both of you stay happy and your love for each other grows.
She smiled as she clicked a picture of the two.
Jacob: So love...what do I get for the month-a-versary?
Scarlett placed a bunch of kisses on his face and he chuckled.
Scarlett: Is that enough for now?
Jacob: If It’s by you...they will never be enough.
Y/N: Okay lovebirds...Get a room and stop making me feel single.
She laughed and Both Scarlett and Jacob joined her.
Jacob: You don’t necessarily need to be single you know...
He said with a knowing look at Y/N who rolled her eyes and she pursed her lips.
Y/N: No...we are not having this discussion here again...
Scarlett: But you can’t stay lonely forever...
Jacob: Yeah...I am sure many people will be dying to ask you out...
He glanced at Jimin and saw his eyes widened.
Y/N: Fine Fine! I will go out with someone if I find the right person... I promise.
She said and Jimin looked at her with amusement and a hint of satisfaction. He sighed remembering the journal he read as he gulped down the Margarita. ‘Who could it be’ was the only question in his mind. He slammed the glass on the counter but not as harshly as to break it. Y/N flinched as she looked at Jimin with her brows knitted together.
Y/N: What happened?
She asked as all three of them looked at Jimin who shrugged.
Jimin: Nothing.
He said briefly and Y/N shrugged it off.
Scarlett: O-Oh Y/N.. why don’t you go to Jade, she has been looking for you. Go go!
She said as she gently pushed Y/N away from the bar.
Y/N: Okay Okay! Jeez what’s the rush, I am going!
She said as she raised her hands in defence before walking off and Scarlett sighed.
Scarlett: Finally we got You alone Park!
She said with a big sigh and Jimin furrowed.
Jimin: You Know you have a boyfriend right and I am not interested either.
Jacob: She didn’t mean it like that! We wanted you alone so that Y/N can’t hear us!
Scarlett: It’s her birthday soon so we are planning something...
Jimin’s raised both his brows in surprise.
Jimin: When is it?
Jacob: In a week. Your birthdays are just a week apart, how coincidental is that.
He smirked and a smile formed on Jimin’s lips.
Scarlett: Anyways, Jaehyun already got her to go out tomorrow so that we can plan it without any trouble. You are in or out..?
Jimin: I am in...
He said subtly as a smirk played on his face.
Jacob: Now That this is settled then let’s go to everyone shall we?
He said and Scarlett nodded followed by Jimin. All of them got up as they made there way to the couches. Y/N sat alone on one couch as she scrolled through her phone. Jimin smirked as he sat beside her. Y/N looked up only to see him and smiled putting her phone down.
Y/N: So are you enjoying so far birthday boy?
She teasingly and Jimin chuckled.
Jimin: Very much actually, thank you.
Y/N’s eyes looked around as she Scarlett and Jacob on the couch in front of their’s as they continued making out. She leaned over to Jimin’s ear as she whispered.
Y/N: You Know I don’t mind watching people kiss anymore, I am too used to it now. Literally every other person in here is making out. I wouldn’t be surprised if I see Jaehyun kissing a bottle of wine.
She shrugged and Jimin laughed. Jimin placed his arm on the couch behind Y/N ever so subtly and smirked to himself.
As everyone sat together Y/N smirked looking at Scarlett And Jacob as they were still kissing.
Y/N: So Scar...
She spoke and Scarlett broke the kiss as Jacob tightened his grip around her.
Y/N: Have you told Mr. and Mrs. Lee about your relationship yet? Because I know Scarlett’s parents know.
Scarlett raised her brow at Jacob who looked at her with a smile.
Jacob: Well I did and they were really happy that I didn’t end up with some gold digger b**ch.
Everyone laughed as Jaehyun spoke.
Jaehyun: When is the marriage then?
Jacob coughed as Scarlett’s cheeks heated at the question.
Y/N: I AM YOUR MAID OF HONOUR!
Jungkook: I AM THE BEST MAN!
Taehyung: I WILL PICK THE CAKE! AND CAN I ALSO GET A DATE WITH ONE OF THE HOT BRIDESMAIDS!
Jacob: Aish! You are acting like we are getting married tomorrow!
Y/N: I WOULD APPRECIATE IF YOU GOT MARRIED TOMORROW! I HAVEN’T ATTENDED A WEDDING IN LONG!
Jimin: Yeah...The Wedding champagne is one of the best.
Scarlett: Yah! S-Stop
Everyone broke into laughter as they saw the Couple’s flustered state. Jimin looked at Y/N with a softened gaze as She laughed.
Veronica: Lets dance, right Day?
She asked Her boyfriend who nodded with a smile. All the couples got up and left for the dance floor as now only Jaehyun, Y/N and Jimin were sitting. Jaehyun looked at Y/N as he mouthed, ‘Ask Jimin to Dance with you’ to her and her eyes widened but she nodded. She cleared her throat as she looked at Jimin who was already looking at her.
Y/N: Uhm...Do you want to...dance?
She asked hesitantly and Jimin smirked as he tilted his head.
Jimin: Sure lets go.
He said as he grabbed Y/N’s arm and dragged Her to the dance floor. Jaehyun gave Y/N a thumbs up as her cheeks turned crimson.
As they reached the dance floor, Jimin grabbed Y/N’s waist pulling her closer to him As she wrapped her arms around his neck.
Y/N: So...are you not going to tell me who the love of your life is?
She asked as she swayed her body from side to side. He turned her around as her back was to his front and he wrapped his arms around her waist once again. He leaned closer to her ear as a shiver ran down her spine.
Jimin: I will tell you once you tell me who yours is...
He said and Y/N’s eyes widened as she gasped.
Y/N: How do you even know- Never mind, I asked first...I will tell you once you tell me.
Jimin: I don’t want to tell you yet. I will tell you when I confess to her okay..
Y/N: Okay.
She pouted and Jimin chuckled as he rested his chin on her shoulder.
Jimin: Meet Me in the balcony in five minutes. I need to ask you something.
He said and let go of her waist as she furrowed her brows turning to him.
Y/N: Why Can’t you tell me here?
Jimin looked around to see many people dancing and shouting and gave Y/N a knowing look as Y/N nodded with a smile.
Jimin: Balcony, in five minutes. I will be waiting.
He said as he turned to his heels and disappeared into the crowd and Y/N let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding.
Y/N: How did he know? Did he perhaps find my journal? Aish!
She said as she held her head in her hands. She sighed and walked away from the dance floor. She went to the bar as she quickly took a shot of tequila before going to the balcony.
She opened the door as she saw Jimin standing with his back facing towards her. She closed the door as the sounds of the party were now completely blocked out and Y/N slowly walked to Jimin who was looking at the city view.
Y/N: Hey.
She said and Jimin looked at her with a smile as he turned his attention back to the scenery in front of him.
Jimin: Hey.
Y/N: What did you want to ask me?
She asked and Jimin sighed as he continued looking a head of him.
Jimin: You won’t say no to me since it’s birthday right?
Y/N: Yeah I won’t.
Jimin: No matter what it is...?
Y/N: Yeah, Yeah I won’t! Just tell me already!
Jimin turned to Y/N with seriousness on his face as he held her hands in his. Their bracelets connected and he smiled slightly before turning back to his serious expression.
She looked at him with confusion as her heart was beating rapidly against her chest.
Jimin: Kang Y/N...
He said as He looked into her eyes and she looked back at him feeling herself fall deeper and deeper into his beautiful eyes. Jimin exhaled sharply as he continued saying the words that he had been holding onto for so long.
Jimin: Will you go out with me?
