Third POV
Jade: So what are you two now?
Jade questioned as Y/N sat awkwardly between the two of her friends who were waiting for answers. Jimin has just dropped her off and the minute she entered Scarlett’s house, both Jade and Scarlett bombarded her with questions coated with curiosity.
Y/N looked at her hands which were clasped together as she started to play with her ring. She bit her lip as she felt the two pairs of eyes stare intensely at her.
Jimin insisted upon her staying the night at the beach penthouse since it had gotten late. She obliged rather happily as she found her self wanting to stay as long as she possibly could with him. Jimin had managed to get Y/N’s clothes from his place beforehand for emergency sakes and it ended up helping them after all. They both slept in each other’s embrace as they let their confessions sink in.
Scarlett was furious at first as she had told Y/N to be home early but couldn’t stay mad long as her curiosity got the best of her.
Now Y/N sat in Scarlett’s living room as she ran a hand through her hair.
Y/N: What do you mean by ‘what are we now?’ What are we supposed to be?
Scarlett: She means are you guys dating or are you two still flirting with one another.
Y/N: Well we....I...Uhm....I am not sure.
She whispered while looking down at her lap. She hadn’t thought about all this yet. All that mattered to her in that moment was him that she didn’t even bring up the topic of dating or making their relationship official.
Jade: So he didn’t ask you to be his girlfriend?
Y/N shook her head as Scarlett scoffed before wrapping an arm around her shoulder protectively.
Scarlett: What an a**h*le!
She growled as she rubbed Y/N’s back comfortingly making a sigh escape Y/N’s lips.
Y/N: I-I mean we don’t need to label our relationship. We can just be...us.
Jade: OH COME ON Y/N-AH! THATS RIDICULOUS!
Scarlett: You don’t actually believe that do you? If you do then I will have to protect you even more than before because you are trusting him to easily.
She spoke as Y/N’s brows furrowed. Seeing her confusion Scarlett continued.
Scarlett: You see honey, all men are the same. They will think that they can do whatever they f**king want without thinking of the consequences. They don’t know how to take responsibility of their actions. That’s just how their pea brain is and all we can do as women is mould their thoughts so that men can move according to us. So you need to make him realise your importance and get it in his damn head that if he doesn’t ask you soon then you will slip through his fingers.
Scarlett featured as Y/N sighed as he pout took over her lips.
Y/N: But I love him Scar. What if he thinks that I don’t trust him. I don’t want to rush him.
Jade: Oh sweetie, if he loves you then he will not think that you are rushing him.
Scarlett: If you think that way then we can take the second option. If he doesn’t ask you then you ask him, it’s the 21st century...I think girls can take some initiative too.
She shrugged as Y/N’s muscles tensed and her face flushed.
Y/N: No thank you. I am perfectly fine! I don’t want to rush things either haha.
She laughed it off as Scarlett and Jade shared a knowing look before looking back at Y/N.
Scarlett: Fine Whatever you want.
Jade: Let’s get a drink. This whole conversation is too energy consuming.
She fanned herself with her hand as both Y/N and Scarlett laughed with a small nod.
{Meanwhile}
Jacob: Wait let me get this straight. So what you are saying is that you kissed but you didn’t ask her if she wants to be your girlfriend or not...?!
Jimin shrugged while leaning his back against the couch remembering the memories of the previous night making a smile form over his Lips.
Jimin: I thought it was obvious because I confessed to her and we kissed. So won’t it be obvious that we are dating.
Jungkook: To me it isn’t obvious.
Taehyung: Me neither.
Jacob: Tell Me Jimin, you have kissed many girls, does that mean all of them are your girlfriends?
Jimin: No of course not but-
Jacob: Then how do you expect for this to be obvious to her or to anyone?!
He threw his hands in the air in exasperation as Jimin sighed while closing his eyes.
Jimin: Okay Okay! It might’ve just slipped my mind.
He smiled awkwardly and Jacob looked at him in disbelief.
Jacob: You are hopeless. If it was me in your place, I would’ve just lifted her in my arms and asked her right away. But then again, I am a professional and you are a rookie.
Jacob smirked and Jimin rolled his eyes.
Jimin: Look, this is my first time at all this ‘romance’ and ‘hearts and flowers’ thing. You can’t expect me to be perfect at it. I am trying.
He spoke in exasperation and Jungkook shook his head while leaning forward.
Jungkook: Okay then Hyung….Imagine this…You kissed her last night and she went to Scarlett’s house wondering, ‘Oh what are we now? Are we dating? Or are we friends who kissed?’ Imagine that and tell me what she will do next, Will she wait for you to ask her or find someone who will treat her better?
Jungkook spoke and Jimin’s eyes widened at the realisation. He opened his mouth to say something but closed it in a moment of surprise.
Jacob: Do you know how eager Scarlett and Jade were to find out about your date. I am sure that they know everything by now, including your little mistake. You can pretty much guess what their reaction might be.
He said and Jimin groaned as he ran his fingers through his hair.
Jimin: So what do you want me to do now?
Jacob: Well, knowing Y/N for so many years now, I know that if she loves you, she will not think too much about this but Scarlett and Jade will make sure that you pay.
Taehyung and Jungkook laughed looking at Jimin’s exasperation as Jacob continued.
Jacob: Hey! It’s Y/N’s birthday tomorrow. Why don’t you ask her then?
Jacob spoke and Jimin looked at Jacob as he considered his idea. It was a good idea and he wouldn’t deny it.
Jimin: Sure. This could actually surprise her.
Jacob: Hey, they don’t call me a professional for nothing.
Jacob smirked and Jimin rolled his eyes playfully.
Taehyung: Now That that’s settled, let’s get something to eat.
Jungkook: Yeah I am famished!
The two spoke and Jacob and Jimin agreed as all of them headed out of Jimin’s house.
As all of them reached towards the car, they spotted Scarlett, Jade and Y/N in Scarlett’s driveway.
Jacob: Where are you guys going?
He asked loudly catching Scarlett's attention as she turned her head to look at her boyfriend.
Jade: We are going somewhere to explain to Peaches on how she is being naive.
Jimin rose a brow as he looked at Y/N who looked at Jade in exasperation.
Y/N: Jade not now!
Scarlett: Don’t mind them. We are getting something to eat, what about you guys?
Jacob: Us too, why don’t all of us go together?
Y/N: Sure.
She said with a bright smile as her eyes met Jimin’s who was looking at her with a knowing smirk.
Jade: Sounds good but let’s take different cars.
Y/N: But-
Scarlett: See you at our usual Cafe guys.
Scarlett interrupted as both of them dragged Y/N to the car and she huffed. She turned her head to look at Jimin who just smiled and shook his head.
Jacob: I told you that they would go all crazy...
He shrugged and Jimin laughed as he sat down inside the car. Jacob began to drive as soon the four arrived in front of the cafe.
Entering the cafe, Jimin spotted Y/N taking a bite of cheesecake with a big smile as Jade and Scarlett continued to talk. He smiled as his gaze softened looking at her.
The four approached the girls as they finally noticed their presence.
Jade: Take a seat.
Jade spoke pointing at the chairs. Jimin took the place beside Y/N and Y/N smiled a shy yet knowing smile, while the rest of them ordered what they wanted to have. She looked into his eyes as he did the same while cocking his head to one side. She just smiled as she gently touched the tip of his nose with her index finger and his face broke into a loving smile
Scarlett: Ehm!
Scarlett cleared her throat loudly, pulling both Jimin and Y/N out of their daze, realising the presence of the others around them. Y/N’s face flushed as Jade rose a brow at the two.
Jade: Anyways, Y/N, we are going shopping after this.
Jade announced making Y/N raise a brow at her words.
Y/N: Why?
She asked while taking a bite of her cheesecake.
Jade: To get you a nice outfit of course! You need to look your best!
Jade exclaimed making Y/N raise a brow in utter confusion.
Y/N: An outfit? What for? Are we going somewhere?
She asked and Scarlett nudged Jade. Scarlett leaned closer to Jade’s ear as she whispered.
Scarlett: You are going to blow the surprise! Hush!
Y/N: Well?
Y/N Asked once more making Scarlett laugh awkwardly.
Scarlett: No...Its just that we wanted to shop just in case something comes up. Like some event or something...
She waved and Y/N nodded, still not completely convinced.
Y/N: Fine whatever...I don’t know, it feels like I am forgetting something but I can’t quite put a finger on it.
She said as she tried remember but nothing came to her mind. Jimin caught on as he decided to distract her...they didn’t afford for her to remember her birthday or the surprise would be ruined.
Jimin took Y/N’s hand as he intertwined his fingers with hers over the table. Y/N’s eyes widened as she looked at him who didn’t look fazed. He tilted his head with a sly smirk, making Y/N’s pulse quicken. She looked at her lap as the other’s observed the two silently.
Jacob: So how was your date yesterday Y/N?
Jacob questioned making Y/N look at him. She recalled the previous day. The good food, the walk by the beach and of course...their kiss under the blanket of stars...was something she would never want to forget.
Her cheeks tinted crimson at her thoughts, as she cleared her throat.
Y/N: Good...It was good...
She said plainly making Jimin chuckle under his breath, looking at her flustered state. He moved closer to her ear as his lips gently brushed against it making her shiver.
Jimin: Just good was it?
He asked, his voice dropping down a few octaves making a shiver run down her spine.
Y/N turned her head towards Jimin as she looked at him through her lashes. Their faces were close as his gaze traveled to her lips.
An ironic smile tugged on both their lips as they looked at one another. Y/N rose a challenging brow at him with a grin making Jimin smirk as he leaned in, as his lips gently moulded hers making Scarlett, who was drinking a glass of water, spitting it out at the sight.
Jacob: You okay baby?
Jacob asked as he rubbed her back and Scarlett coughed.
Scarlett: I am fine...
She said as she still looked at the two in shock. Jimin pulled away with an appreciative hum as Y/N let out a lighthearted chuckle.
Jimin: Hmm as sweet as ever.
Y/N: Confident Much...
She smiled and Jimin chucked huskily.
Jimin: Oh trust me, I can do much, much more...
He teased making Y/N blush as a smile crept over her lips.
Y/N: Aish pervert.
She said as she leaned back and took another bite of her cheesecake making Jimin chuckle once more.
Jade: I change my mind...Let’s leave now.
Jade said as she grabbed Y/N’s arm and Y/N whined.
Y/N: But I haven’t finished yet-
Jade: I’ll tell Jacob to get it packed. Now let’s go...You too Scar.
She said as Jade dragged both Scarlett and Y/N out of the CafÊ leaving the boys there.
Taehyung: Well that was something...
Jacob: Bold of you to kiss Sugarplum in front of Jade...I thought you had a death wish.
Jacob chuckled and Jimin rolled his eyes playfully.
Jungkook: Anyways, are you done with the birthday planning?
Jimin: Nearly. Just one small detail left...Which reminds me that I need to go...
He said with his secret smile.
Taehyung: Where though-
Jimin: Bye guys.
Jimin spoke before walking out of the cafÊ leaving the trio dumbfounded.

Y/N’s POV
Scarlett: You should get some rest...
I heard Scarlett speak as I changed into into some soft leggings and an oversized shirt.
I folded my dress as I looked at her with a smile.
Y/N: You should rest too...I’ll see you in the morning okay?
I said and she smiled with a nod.
Scarlett: Goodnight Angel...
Y/N: Goodnight Scar...
Scarlett left closing the door behind her as I slid under the covers.
Scarlett wanted me to stay at her place again. I don’t get why she is so overprotective but I somehow find it sweet.
I grabbed my phone as I saw no texts or calls. Disappointment filled my heart as I pouted while keeping my phone on one side.
Was Scarlett right? Is he just playing around?
No he would never do that...I’ve known him well enough to know that he wouldn’t do that, ever.
I sighed as I closed my eyes. I need some rest.
Just as I was about drift, I heard a tapping sound. I frowned as I opened my eyes.
The sound reached my ear once more and I noticed that it was from my window.
My brows knitted together as I got up before opening my curtains.
There he was...Jimin.
My eyes widened as I saw him, there was not much distance between the window to his room to here. Scarlett’s house and his house are really close.
I quickly opened the window and he smiled.
Jimin: Lovely seeing you here...
He spoke and I shook my head.
Y/N: What are you doing here, On Scarlett’s roof?
Jimin: I missed you...
He said with his beautiful smile and his words made my heart swell.
Y/N: You could’ve called me. Its midnight...
I said and his smile broadened.
Jimin: Better for me then.
He said as he reached his hand out to me.
Y/N: What..?
Jimin: I want to show you something. Come with me.
He said and I smiled at his actions. Without any second thought, I got out of the window of Scarlett’s house and in through the window to Jimin’s room.
As I put my feet on the floor, I was pulled against Jimin’s chest as his arm circled my waist.
His eyes looked into mine and I took a sharp intake of breath. Jimin moved closer as his lips gently brushed against mine making my heart flutter in anticipation but he pulled away without going any further making me pout.
Y/N: Hey!
Jimin: Desperate much.
He teased and I rolled my eyes while getting out of his grip.
Y/N: Fine! Be like that then...I am going back.
I said as I turned to leave but gasped as I was pulled back. In an instant I was pinned to the wall by the window as my hands were above my head.
Jimin smirked as he leaned forward.
Jimin: Patience love...Patience...
He whispered lowly and his voice made my knees weak. He placed a chaste kiss over my lips and a light blush crept over my cheeks.
I heard him chuckle making me look away feeling flustered. Jimin let go of my hands as he smiled his charming smile once more.
Jimin: Come.
He said as he intertwined our fingers together and dragged me out of his room. We went to the rooftop and I looked at him in confusion.
As we stood there he tilted my chin so that I was looking up. Just then the sky was illuminated by fireworks.
I stared, in both wonder and amusement at the mesmerising sight.
I felt two arms wrap around my waist as I felt Jimin place his chin on my shoulder.
Jimin: Happy Birthday Autumn...
He whispered in my ear and my brows furrowed.
Y/N: Birthday? But my birthday is on-
I stopped as my eyes widened at the realisation. I felt Jimin chuckle as he buried his face in the crook of my neck.
Jimin: Hmm...Do you like it?
He asked and I couldn’t help but smile. I turned to look at him as he stared into my eyes. I wrapped my arms around his neck before pulling him into a hug.
Y/N: I love it! Thank you so much!
I hugged him as tightly as ever as he too wrapped his arms around me.
Jimin: There is one more thing.
He spoke, pulling away as I furrowed my brows while looking at him.
Jimin reached his hand into his pocket as he pulled out a small box which was neatly wrapped in wrapping paper. He placed the box in my palm as I eyed it curiously.
Jimin: Open it.
I looked at him through my lashes before looking back at the box. I carefully unwrapped the box revealing a box covered with velvet. I slowly opened the box to reveal a pendant with a rose quartz crystal shard.
I covered my mouth with my palm.
Jimin: How is it?
He asked but nothing escaped my mouth. It was beautiful.
Y/N: This is...just amazing.
I spoke and I saw him smile in relief. Jimin took the pendant out before looking at me.
Jimin: May I?
He asked and I nodded my head. He turned me around as I lifted my hair up. He placed the pendant around my neck as he fastened the hook. I touched the pendant which was around my neck and smiled.
I turned around to say something but before I could, his lips had already found mine. He pulled me closer to him as I wrapped my arms around his neck, deepening the kiss further.
Jimin: Stay...with me...tonight?
He spoke in between the kiss and I smiled. I pulled away while resting my forehead against his.
Y/N: If Scarlett finds out, she will be upset...
I spoke and heard his chuckle.
Jimin: I am sure she won’t mind, it’s your birthday after all...
He spoke as he pecked my lips once more.
Jimin: Even is she is, we can talk to her together...
He spoke and I giggled with a nod. He took my hand as we walked back to his room.
I lay down on Jimin’s bed, feeling the familiar aura that surrounded it. I’ve missed this.
I inhaled deeply, the room smelt like him and a hint of my vanilla perfume.
I closed my eyes as I felt the mattress beside me sink before two arms wrapped around me. I melted into the warmth of his embrace as I relaxed.
I scooted closer to him as I buried my face in his chest. He kissed me on my temple as his lips lingered there for a few moments.
Y/N: I love you...
I spoke tiredly as I heard the rhythmic beating of his heart.
Jimin: And I love you...A lot more than you can imagine.
He whispered as his hand caressed my cheek making me relax further.
Jimin: Sleep now love...You have a long day tomorrow hmm...
He spoke and I nodded, as I drifted into deep sleep in his warm embrace.
Tomorrow was going to be one hell of a day...
